Peter Ivanovich's contribution to the development of the city

As mayor, Pimashkov did a lot of good things for his city:

  1. He was engaged in the improvement and restoration of courtyards - every year their number in Krasnoyarsk only increased.
  2. Helped the city zoo acquire giraffes and zebras.
  3. He erected many new monuments.
  4. Big Ben - the clock at the administration building - was also installed during the reign of Pimashkov.
  5. Thanks to the mayor, a cannon appeared on Karaulnaya Hill near the chapel of Paraskeva Pyatnitsa.
  6. He is loved by all schoolchildren for the creation of Pimashkov's detachments, which are called "yellow mouths" by the common people (thanks to yellow T-shirts). During the summer holidays, all children can earn their own money while helping to beautify the city. A great alternative to idleness.

Pimashkov Petr Aleksandrovich tried every year to make Krasnoyarsk more and more beautiful. Under him, a lot of illumination appeared, exotic trees "grew" in different parts of the city, fountains clogged. Streetsjust shone with bright colors.

The fountains should be mentioned separately. The mayor had some special passion for them. Fountains appeared everywhere. There are more of them than in any other city in Russia. Sometimes Krasnoyarsk is called the "City of Fountains", and Pimashkov is called Pyotr Fontanych. Peter Ivanovich himself says that he was inspired by one English town, in which, after the war, in order to get rid of devastation, fountains began to be erected everywhere.

Biography

The family of Petr Ivanovich Pimashkov is small.

The Pimashkov era

The years of Pimashkov's reign are perhaps the most memorable and productive in the history of the cityKrasnoyarsk. He wanted to make the city beautiful, turn it into a real Siberian capital, in which every person of this region wants to live. It was he who first said that Krasnoyarsk needed a metro, under him they began to build it. Unfortunately, this project has been put on hold.

The fountains with which he filled the city give a cheerful mood. He thought it would be an excellent remedy for depression. Schoolchildren no longer hang around idle, but earn money by helping to make the city cleaner. Big Ben pleases the eye.

No Krasnoyarsk citizen can forget the era of Pimashkov Petr Ivanovich.
