Maxim was born on March 4, 1981 in a small town called Chernogorsk, which is located in the Republic of Khakassia.
When he was seven years old, his whole family decided to move to Kazakhstan permanently.
He knew from childhood what he wanted to become, so there were no problems with choosing an educational institution. At first he tried to enter the Academy of Arts in Kazakhstan, but he did not succeed. However, Maxim Zykov was not going to stop and a year later he became a student of GITIS.
Career
After GITIS, Maxim tried to find a job by profession, went to audition, but he was not lucky at all. Moreover, the young mansuddenly realized that he likes not acting, but directing. Therefore, he decided to enter VGIK at the faculty of directing. Oddly enough, as soon as he entered, he was offered to star in small roles in very large films, such as "We are from the future", "Storm Gate".
In 2011, the guy graduated from his second university, had several prominent roles behind him, people already began to recognize him on the streets. But acting still did not particularly seduce him, although he did not stop acting.
In his last year, Maxim Zykov began to shoot his short films. As it turns out, he's pretty good at it.
His short films were very popular with critics. With one of his paintings, he received the Grand Prix at the Artkino festival. The short was titled “It Seems to be Gone, But It May Not Be.”
A year later, with another of his paintings, called "The Power of Things", he received second place at the St. Anna festival and received a special award.
Maxim Zykov starred in the series "Escape" in two seasons, then introduced his adopted son Joseph Vissarionovich Stalin in the series "Son of the Father of Nations". Fans liked his performance, but the actor was too busy for filming, he took on a big project.
Univer
A talented man caught the attention of well-known TV producers and was invited to direct a new project about students, whichis an American sitcom. But the producers didn't want to do a conventional adaptation. They decided to create something of their own, unique, interesting.
He went headlong into the process, and Univer became one of the most popular sitcoms on Russian television.
