Pavel Astakhov is a well-known person in Russian public and political circles. One of the prominent lawyers, a politician, in the past Commissioner for Children's Rights under the President of the Russian Federation, he became famous far beyond his professional community. Bank History

RBR was established in 1993. Known by its former names as the Bashkir Railway Bank and Orlan Bank. The organization was a fairly significant player both in the regional financial market and beyond. Credit and financial services were provided by the bank to many republican construction and industrial companies, trade and pharmacy chains, housing and communal services, food manufacturers, etc.

It's no secret that the bank sometimes had difficulties. For example, the RBR financed bankrupt equity holders in the Ufa microdistrict "Solnechny". In 2014, an interview with a young banker Anton Astakhov was circulated on the Internet, in which he spoke about his desire to participate in serious banking activities. Preference was given to the Regional Development Bank, which at that time, as they say, was languishing before our eyes.

About his participation inmanaging the structure, the young banker expressed himself extremely pathetically: he compared the bank with a horse, which had previously been improperly fed and, instead of being able to participate in competitions, was forced to pull a cart. Anton Astakhov, whose biography testifies to a high-quality education received in prestigious educational institutions abroad, undertook to properly feed the horse (bank), give him freedom, and assured that with his participation in management, the bank would overtake everyone.

One harsh document

In July 2015, an order from the National Bank of Bashkortostan, which regulates banking activities in the region, was sent to the RBR. By this letter, the bank undertook to release Anton Pavlovich Astakhov from his duties as a member of the Board of Directors of the RBR within 60 days. As the basis, the non-compliance of this person with the requirements of the law of the Russian Federation was indicated. The instruction was drawn up 5 months before the bankruptcy of the RBR. In January 2013, information appeared in the media that a human rights organization sent an appeal to Francois Hollande, the President of France, with a request to ban Pavel Astakhov from entering the country, where he visited very often. This was due to the lawyer's support for a complete ban on the adoption of Russian orphans by American citizens.

His eldest son Anton graduated from an American school, then decided to study economics at Oxford and London. After some time, he again left for America, after which he returned to Moscow, where he began working in the stock market. In an interview, Astakhov Jr. told reporters that he was helping his father in his work. But he does not intend to become a lawyer, unless he will someday have to defend himself in court.

At home, Anton Astakhov demonstrated remarkable talent as a businessman. As it became known, once engaged in a banal browsing of the Internet, he put the matter on a commercial basis, organizing a structure that monitors the network for content prohibited by law. Perseverance and connections helped a promising businessman to push back all competitors in the specific market of the "pedophile" business.
