Dmitry Kuklachev (see photo below) is the son of the legendary cat trainer. He decided to follow in his father's footsteps and continue his work. In 2009 he received the title of Honored Artist of the Russian Federation. At the moment, Dmitry is the leading actor and director of the Cat Theater. This article will describe his brief biography.

Childhood

Dmitry Kuklachev was born in Moscow in 1975. His legendary father did not even think that his son would continue the family business. Indeed, at the age of five, Dmitry was diagnosed with an allergy to cats. But even then, the future artist had a desire to work in his father's theater. This has become a significant help during the fight against the disease. By the age of twelve, with the help of the Buteyko breathing system, the boy was completely cured.

Study

At the age of thirteen, Dmitry Kuklachev decided to enter the circus school. He did not say anything to his father and did not even advertise his last name. In the end, the boy was accepted. Dmitry studied hard, mastering a variety of tricks. In addition, he designed and developedown. In his free time, the young man helped his father in the theater. And then he began to take part in performances.

Career start

Dmitry Kuklachev was accepted by the audience not as the son of a talented trainer, but as an independent theater actor. The young man managed to attract attention with his incredible improvisational abilities, charm and innate artistry.

In 1991, Dmitry went on tour with the theater to England. For his enchanting performance, the young man received the Golden Cat award and was recognized as the actor of the year. The hero of this article was then barely sixteen years old.

Direction

At such a young age, Dmitry Kuklachev showed incredible curiosity. He constantly read, worked, watched other people's performances, films, and soon decided to try his hand at directing. To master a new profession, Kuklachev Jr. entered GITIS. It took Dmitry three years to prepare the first performance. Although he wrote the script in just one night. As a result, "My Favorite Cats" became Kuklachev's graduation project. The commission gave the newly-minted director the highest score.

Further work

It can be said that now Dmitry Kuklachev and the Cat Theater are synonymous. After all, the hero of this article not only leads this institution, but is also its leading actor. He significantly developed his father's business. Sometimes more than seventy furry actors are involved in Kuklachev's performances. Dmitry also staged two independent plays - Boris the Cat Olympics and My Favorite Cats. Today he is preparing to release a new play called "Ice Fantasy".

TV & Film

Dmitry Yurievich is busy not only with work in the theater. He is often invited to various television programs (“In the animal world”, “Malakhov +”, “So far, everyone is at home”, etc.). Kuklachev also puts a trick with cats in commercials and movies. Few people know that the role of the Behemoth cat in the film "The Master and Margarita" was played by one of the actors of the theater of Dmitry Yuryevich named Varter. Moreover, the film director Vladimir Bortko himself came to Kuklachev and asked for a black cat for one of the scenes. Dmitry Yuryevich did not have actors of this color, because the work in the theater went on against a dark background. But Kuklachev promised Bortko to find a furry artist for him. The difficulty was also in the fact that not only black color was needed, but also a certain breed - the British-Siberian.

The search for Dmitry Yurievich lasted two months and was unsuccessful. And so Kuklachev came on tour to Nizhnevartovsk. A black cat was sitting on the watch. First, the trainer passed by. Then it dawned on him - here he is, the spitting image of Behemoth! Kuklachev returned to the lobby, but the cat was gone. Dmitry Yuryevich asked for help from the local watchman Vasilyich. Soon he found and brought the future actor to the trainer. The hippo was plump and could eat seven bags of food at a time. After filming ended, he became a full-fledged artist of the Cat Theater.

Current hobby

Recently, Dmitry Kuklachev, whose biographypresented above, became interested in cinema. He shot two of his own paintings - "Only cats" and "Theater of his fairy tale." Dmitry Yuryevich performed the main roles himself. Also, with the active participation of Kuklachev, four issues of the painting "School of Kindness" were filmed. All these films were released on DVD-discs and are very popular with the audience. And Dmitry also wrote a children's book "Cat's ABC".
