It is not necessary to be born in the capital to become an actor. Many Soviet and contemporary artists come from other regions. They came to Moscow to study and became famous. Many famous artists did this, including Yuri Sorokin, who was originally from Khabarovsk.
Childhood and learning
Yuri Valentinovich was born in the post-war years, in 1946. His parents had nothing to do with art - his mother worked in a hospital, and his father worked on the railroad. By the time Sorokin was studying at school in the country, they stopped talking about the need for only working hands. In the USSR, there were not enough actors and directors who could create films no worse than Western ones.
In 1963, Yuri graduated from high school and decided to go to the capital to enter VGIK. He was lucky, and he became a student first of Mikhail Ilyich Romm, and then Svobodin, Sverdlin and Belokurov. In 1967, Yuri Sorokin graduated and became a certified actor.
Private life
The actor's first marriage was a student. He fell in love with classmate Galina Bulkina. But on the process of learning the relationship is notinfluenced - the couple officially registered the marriage and was assigned to the Gorky film studio.
Later, the couple broke up, and right at work, Yuri Sorokin met his second wife, Lyudmila Sergeevna Kirpichnikova, with whom he lived until his death. In marriage, they had a son, Vadim. Lyudmila worked as a photographer and supported her husband in all endeavors. They spent most of their lives in the dacha, which they equipped practically with their own hands.
Career
Immediately after graduating from VGIK, Yuri Sorokin began to act actively. He participated in dozens of projects, including films: Die Hard (1967), Officers, The Adventures of the Yellow Suitcase, The Dawns Here Are Quiet and many others. He was very good at the role of the military, policemen and sailors.
But Yuri Valentinovich was not satisfied with his work on the screen, so he was constantly in search of himself: he participated in theatrical productions, dubbed. But soon there were not enough interesting projects, so in 1983 Yuri entered VGIK at the directing department.
For many, Yuri Sorokin is an actor, because as a director he could not become famous. He completed his studies in an unstable 1987, which affected his work. Only in 1991 he was able to release his first mini-series - "The Revelations of John the Printer", which was shown on the screens only once. The same fate befell the second work: “Under the sign of Scorpio”, but Yuri Valentinovich did not give up and after a period of inactivity was able to releasecycle "Illustrated History of the Russian State" and several short films.
The actor devoted his last years to teaching children from the parish acting school.
Servants and parishioners took up the funeral when Yuri was gone. He was buried in Fryazino.
