Only a person who does not value his life above the rest, but, on the contrary, puts it in last place, can occupy the ranks of defenders in the security service. There are many examples of such brave heroes who laid down their lives for the sake of others, and one of them is Dmitry Razumovsky. He considered it worthy to die in battle. This is what happened during the terrorist attack in Beslan, when the lieutenant colonel took bullets, protecting children's lives. This tragedy caused the death of 10 soldiers from special forces. A total of 334 people died, including 186 children.

Childhood and leadership

In 1968, Dima was born in the city of Ulyanovsk, famous for the birth of the leader of the proletariat in it. Like all children of his age, he went to learn to read and write: first, to school No. 9, and then to gymnasium No. 1, where V. I. Lenin received knowledge at one time. At that time, only the best pupils, such as Dmitry Razumovsky, an activist, athlete and excellent student, could study in the last educational institution.

Dima's mother in one of the films dedicated to the memory of the hero,she recalled that he was a very kind boy, always asked in childhood to sing songs to him (my mother worked as a music teacher), and the last one must be “Where the Motherland Begins”. When asked what he wants to become, the child replied: “Commander.”

A serious attitude to sports and his physical training helped the young man to succeed in boxing. Dima became the champion of the USSR among youths in 1985.

Difficult cadet

No matter how badly they treated the Soviet government now, but the culture of that time was aimed at developing patriotism, honor and a sense of justice. Dima's favorite film was "State Border", consisting of 8 films and telling about the service of Soviet border guards. The boy, thanks to the historical adventure film, decided for himself that after graduating from school he wants to study military affairs and defend the borders of the Motherland.

Having entered the border school in Moscow, he received the nickname "Inconvenient cadet", that is, a fighter for justice. Among classmates, the guy enjoyed authority, because he could tell the truth to anyone, despite the regalia and rank. Dmitry Razumovsky, whose biography at every stage of his life was accompanied by a desire to be perfect, honest and courageous, being in the ranks of the Soviet army, he calculated options for actions in training and worked them out to the maximum quality of execution.

The wrong one was attacked

In the late eighties, there were cases of attacks by young people oncadets returning from leave alone. The conversation began with a request from a man in uniform to give a cigarette to one of the gang. Once, when Dmitry was in a hurry to the evening formation, he met loafers with the same nicotine question. After all, the hooligans did not even suspect that in front of them was a boxing champion in the past. Dmitry instead of cigarettes began to distribute blows. A gang of young people immediately backed down and fled.

Tajikistan

Dmitry Razumovsky, while studying at the border school, wanted to go to Afghanistan, but the military conflict by the end of his studies (1990) had already been resolved. Then the young lieutenant wished to start serving on the Afghan-Tajik border. Initially, he was the deputy head of the outpost, and later - the head of the air assault group (LSH).

Competent theorist Dmitry Razumovsky (hero of Russia in the future) calculated every step of the upcoming operation. This gave impressive results: the group with which the lieutenant went in search of Afghan terrorists found and eliminated them without fail. The record was six clashes in one day. The thoughtfulness and well-functioning of the teams made it possible to save the lives of their wards. During the service on the border in Tajikistan, not a single soldier from Dmitry's subordinates was injured, although there were many victims.

In 1993, spirits attacked the 12th outpost, there were about 300 of them. The border detachment in reinforcement had only one BMP crew and was 80% manned. In this unequal battlethe head of the outpost and Dmitry's best friend, Mikhail Mayboroda, and 25 other soldiers died. Razumovsky regarded the current battle as a betrayal by the higher command, because the situation was reported on time, and no orders were given. A year later, while on vacation, Dmitry Razumovsky learns about the daring attack of spirits on the outpost, as a result of which 7 more border guards die. Then he decided to avenge his dead friends, giving an interview to Komsomolskaya Pravda that he was ready to serve as "cannon fodder", but only knowing the interests of the state. He publicly blamed the higher leadership and asked: "Where is the concern for the Russians, Russia?".

Then Captain Razumovsky was dismissed from service after four years of hard work on the Tajik border. The reason for this was the very justice that Dmitry fought for all his life.

Dmitry's wife, Erika, whom he met at the funeral of his friend Mikhail, said that he had a dream to serve in the Alpha special forces unit. However, by the will of fate, he ended up in another unit - Vympel, where he received the rank of lieutenant colonel. Dmitry Razumovsky became an object of interest for the special forces. The officer's practical experience was studied, manuals were published with his recommendations and instructions.

A service has begun, where everyone's names and faces are secret, you can't go anywhere, you can't get sick either. A business trip can begin at any moment, and where, even the wife should not know about it. Razumovsky demanded that his subordinates perform the exercises as he did them perfectly.

Vympel's operations are confidential, but all those under the command of Dmitry were effective and without sacrifice. Except for one…

Beslan, awards

August 2004. Dmitry was on vacation and was going after September 1 to go to Ulyanovsk to his parents. But here's another trip. One of the schools on September 1 in Beslan was seized by terrorists. It was the third day when 1128 hostages were in the hands of the bandits. There was an explosion at the school and the building was stormed. A sniper's bullet hit Razumovsky, he died in battle, as he once wanted.

From September 6 of the same year, Dmitry Razumovsky - Hero of Russia posthumously, according to the presidential decree.

Three years have passed since the tragedy. In his native city of Ulyanovsk, by the beginning of the school year, a monument to Dmitry Razumovsky was erected on the central square in the form of a running soldier, in whose arms is a child. Memorial plaques are mounted on the house where the Hero of the Russian Federation was born and in gymnasium No. 1.
