Kamorny Yuri Yuryevich, whose personal life will be described below, was a talented Soviet theater and film actor. Best known to viewers for the series of films "Liberation". In this article, you will be presented with his brief biography.

LGITMiK

Yuri Kamorny was born in 1944. Immediately after graduation, I decided to enter LGITMiK. Yuri was one of the most disciplined and talented students of this institute. On the other hand, the sociable nature of the young man allowed him to be the soul and ringleader of any company. Kamorny also knew how to play several musical instruments, from the harmonica to the guitar. Therefore, it is not at all surprising that filmmakers paid attention to a talented young man.

First roles

Director Yulian Panich noticed him first and invited him to the leading role in the film "Seeing the White Nights". Yuri Kamorny played a journalist named Valery, who was moderately cynical, moderately conscientious playboy. Unfortunately, the film had a difficult fate: it was put on the shelf due to Panich's departure to the West. Therefore, the film is almostno one saw, and Yuri's debut failed.

But soon Kamorny was lucky. He received a leading role in the film by Mikhail Bogin "Zosya". The film was a great success at the box office, and the lead actress, Paula Raksa, was named the best actress of the year (according to the Soviet Screen edition). There were rumors that a romance had “spun” between the Polish beauty and Kamorny. And they are quite plausible, since the actor was a huge success with women, and in artistic circles he was known as the first lover.

Late 60s

After graduating from the institute, Yuri Kamorny, whose personal life was rather stormy, got into the Bryantsev troupe (Leningrad Youth Theater). The team was headed by Korogodsky, an actor's teacher at LGITMiK. He was very fond of Kamorny, because many considered Yuri his favorite. It was difficult to judge the veracity of these rumors, but the fact that Korogodsky turned a blind eye to the combination of theater and cinema as an actor is an undoubted fact. And at that time, Yuri was filming very actively. His most famous works are “Kremlin Chimes”, “Quarantine” and a series of films “Liberation”. In 1967, Kamorny married Irina Petrovskaya. The girl was an aspiring actress. A year later, the couple had a daughter, Polina.

70s

In the 70s, the actor Yuri Kamorny was more successful in the theater. On the theater stage, he played many diverse roles in such performances as "A Sip of Freedom", "Our Circus" and "The Master". But the best embodied image of Yuri will be Rizpolozhensky in the play “Our people - we will settle.”

In the movies, almostthere were no worthy and large-scale roles for Kamorny's talent. Basically, the actor embodied the role of successful and handsome young guys, a sort of womanizer and supermen.

Divorce and new relationships

In the early 70s, Yuri Kamorny divorced and moved to live in a cramped dressing room of the Youth Theater. He left the apartment on Suvorovsky to his daughter and ex-wife. In 1972, on the set of the film “The Door Without a Lock,” the actor met a student at Leningrad State University, who studied at the Faculty of Law. She had a beneficial effect on Kamorny. Yuri stopped drinking and began to monitor his own he alth (before that, he had already undergone a couple of abdominal operations - adhesive disease and infringement of a hernia). The girl got a job as an administrator at Lenfilm and accompanied the actor on his film expeditions for several years.

Leaving the theater

Although the cinema did not reveal all of Kamorny's talent, he nevertheless decided to make it his main profession. And in 1976, Yuri left the Youth Theater and got a job at Lenfilm. Soon the actor was given living space: a 12-meter room in a communal apartment. The house was located on S altykov-Shchedrin Street, where there was one of the most famous bars at that time - "Priboy". Kamorny became his frequent visitor. The beer party adored Yuri for his cheerful disposition and funny stories from cinematic life. Even all the local policemen were his friends. But periodic sprees did not prevent the actor from actively acting in new projects.

Recent years

In the early 80s, both personal and creative life of Yuri was developing very well. At least outwardly everythingit looked exactly like that. In 1980, Yuri Kamorny received the title of Honored Artist of the RSFSR. Relations with a student of Leningrad State University ended, but the girl continued to help him at work. Soon her place was taken by a young make-up artist, whom Yuri met on the set in Lithuania. It was she who was with the actor on the last day of his life.

Two versions of death

There are two versions of Kamorny's death. One is described in Fyodor Razzakov's book Star Tragedies. The second was presented by Mikhail Veller in the publication "Legends of Nevsky Prospekt".

Razzakov's version

According to Razzakov's version, the neighbors went to Yuri's apartment and saw him standing on the couch with two daggers in his hands. A frightened girl sat in the corner of the room. The neighbors immediately called the narcologist and the police. Arriving law enforcement officers did not take risks and used weapons, firing two warning shots at the ceiling. One of the bullets ricocheted into the girl's hand. The third shot was fired at the actor. The bullet grazed the femoral artery and Kamorny bled to death within seconds.

Weller's version

Mikhail Veller writes that Yuri was very drunk, and the neighbors called a policeman who was passing by. He saw Kamorny, who put a knife to the woman's neck, and fired, hitting her in the leg. With the second shot, he hit Yuri in the forehead. Then, after some thought, the policeman fired at the ceiling. At the trial, the servants of law and order were saved only by the testimony of the neighbors, who were very happy about the “liquidation” of the noisy neighbor. So orotherwise, the actor was killed. Yuri Kamorny, whose films are still remembered by Soviet viewers, was buried in his homeland, in Staraya Russa.
