Goncharov Sergey Alekseevich: biography

August 6, 1948 on the farm Tarasovka, in the Rostov region, in the family of the Don Cossacks, a boy was born - a future hero, covered with glory. His parents met in Manchuria after the end of the war with Japan. Both served inranks of the Soviet Army. After the appearance of the offspring, the couple went to the capital, where a few years later they also transported their son.

Goncharov Sergey grew up in a large family. He had four sisters and two brothers. He spent his childhood in a communal apartment. The room was small, only 9 square meters. But they lived together. Father often visited colleagues. Sergei Alekseevich himself likes to recall the special atmosphere of the officer fraternity, cheerful feasts with songs and stories about past battles. In 1963, the young man went to study at the Automotive College, he did not quit his job. Four years later he was drafted into the army. After completing the service, he returned to the factory. Soon he was invited to the Lubyanka for a conversation. From that moment on, his life took a sharp turn.

Group A

In all countries of the world at one time elite units were created, which were tasked with combating terrorism. The USSR was considered a prosperous power from this point of view, but politicians could see trends in changing the situation.

Goncharov Sergey entered the service in a special unit called the "Andropov group", abbreviated as "A". This part of the special troops was directly subordinate to the head of the country. It consisted of specialists with excellent physical and moral training, an iron nervous system, selflessly devoted to the Motherland. The activities of the unit, of course, are largely secret. But some facts have received wide publicity. In particular, Sergey Alekseevich Goncharov himself describes past events in popularbooks.

Group "A" (later "Alpha") participated in the neutralization of terrorists. Hostage-taking also happened in the Soviet Union. The population learned about them only by rumors, all the more interesting first-hand information.

First operation

Goncharov Sergey Alekseevich (photo attached) served in Alpha for fifteen years. Resigned in 1993 for political reasons. The first operation in which he happened to participate was the exchange of Soviet intelligence officers. The country's leadership agreed with the United States on the extradition of two officers, in return five dissidents were released from prison. The protection of the latter was entrusted to Goncharov and his comrades. He himself recalls that the sight of the traitors (at that time) of the Motherland made an unpleasant impression on him. It was strange that these miserable slobs were being exchanged for military officers. The operation went according to plan with no hiccups. The exchange took place at the New York airport. On the part of the United States, security was provided, as it turned out, by at least three hundred intelligence officers.

Capture in Sarapul

The next operation involving Goncharov was directed against terrorists. Two criminals captured a whole class with a teacher, blocked them in the school office and took them at gunpoint. The demands of these people were that they should be provided with unhindered exit to the United States, that is, they should be provided with documents and vehicles. We neutralized them pretty quickly, by the morning of the next day.

As Sergei Goncharov himself writes, the operation went asby notes. Having received the task, the special services went to the school. They were lucky. One of the boys the terrorists at that very moment released into the lavatory. The guy gave the officers a full breakdown of the situation. The terrorists were taken immediately, bursting into the office with a lightning-fast throw. No one was hurt that time.

Hostages from 4 "G"

The next action of the terrorists turned out to be more thoughtful, therefore, difficult to neutralize them. In Mineralnye Vody, a gang led by a recidivist P. Yakshiyants again captured a class (4 "G") with a teacher. Thirty-two children with a teacher were on the bus. Remembering the clash with Alpha, which was inglorious for bandits, these terrorists placed cans of gasoline under the seats with children. They demanded money (two million dollars) and conditions for unhindered travel beyond the cordon.

Two groups were prepared for the military operation, one of them was headed by Sergei Goncharov. But this time they only had to wait almost a day. The matter was settled by negotiations. The bandits freed the children, received money and a plane to Israel. A day later, the special services of the party that received them turned to the KGB with a proposal to take the “gift” back. The terrorists were returned to the USSR and tried.

Order: Arrest Yeltsin

For fifteen years, the special forces had to neutralize many threats, Goncharov Sergey Alekseevich took part in many operations. Interesting facts that are no longer a state secret, he himself revealed to the public in an interview and a book.

Butthe most tragic can be considered the unperformed operation to arrest Boris Nikolaevich Yeltsin. This story shows the heroism of ordinary soldiers and the betrayal of the leadership of the country, which now does not exist. In August 1991, the Alpha group found itself at the center of a political struggle. They were instructed to settle down near the village of Arkhangelskoye and wait for instructions. Yeltsin was in this settlement. The wait continued until morning. The awakened villagers noticed strange soldiers hiding in the forest. The information reached the "object of development". But the capture did not succeed. None of the leaders of the GKChP had the fortitude to give the order. And this led to the collapse of the USSR.

Hot autumn 1993

There was a moment in the history of Alpha when they had to choose between a duty of oath and responsibility to people. We are talking about the order to storm the White House in 1991. A lot of people gathered around the government building. The operation could have resulted in huge casu alties. The soldiers of the unit refused to follow the order, they were not ready to fight ordinary citizens.

And in 1993, Alfa again found itself at the forefront of big politics. The fighters were ordered to arrest the instigators of the riot - Rutskoy and Khasbulatov. The parliament building was on fire, and there were people there. Instead of using weapons, the leadership of the group entered into negotiations with the Supreme Council. Result: lives saved. And Sergey Alekseevich Goncharov (deputy by that time) received a grateful response by chance, during a meeting withvoters.

Loy alty to the people

As Sergei Goncharov himself writes, a middle-aged lady approached him. She asked if his subordinates were taking people out of the White House in '93. Having received an affirmative answer, the woman scattered in gratitude, telling an amazing story. Her eighteen-year-old son was among the rebels. Alfovets who caught him, took the gun from the "kid" and "gave him a kick in the ass." He also admonished: “Run home to your mother!”

But at that moment they didn’t mess with armed people, they shot to kill. So a special forces soldier saved the mother of a son who succumbed to a youthful impulse and got into a serious story. This is probably the best confirmation of the correctness of the officers who chose the duty to the people and the Fatherland, and not the order of corrupt and cowardly politicians. Further events in the country only emphasize this again.

Goncharov Sergey Alekseevich: personal life

There are things that people perceive based on their own worldview. Sergei Goncharov is a fairly well-known and influential person. All his life he has been engaged in the fight against terror, the relevance of which is constantly growing. This man is doing everything to keep the officer fraternity of former Alpha employees. And the public is wondering who he is married to and “where the money comes from.”

It should be understood that such information must remain confidential. Enemies will give a lot to find an approach to this person. It is known from open sources that he is married and has a son. He probably already has grandchildren. And in freetime, of which he does not have much, goes in for sports, a habit from his youth, and writes books. It is necessary to pass on the vast experience to unreasonable descendants brought up by the fussy media. Who do you think young people should focus on: the multibillionaires of our time who kill for profit, or the Alpha fighter who saves lives?
