The path to art

Irina Borisovna Kalinovskaya was born on the first day of October 1946 in Moscow. As a child, she firmly decided that she would only be an actress. And so it happened. As she got older, she fulfilled her childhood dream. Irina Kalinovskaya became a student at the Shchukin Moscow Theater School, which she successfully graduated on time. Later, she worked in the troupe of the Mossovet Theater for four years: from 1969 to 1973, and introupe of the Mayakovsky Theater - eleven years old, from 1973 to 1984 (she came to these walls after leaving the previous theater group).

Debut role

Irina Borisovna played her first film role while still a student at the theater school in 1967. It was the film "Little Runaway", the young actress was offered a small role as a nurse. The background turned out to be simple: they came from the film studio to the institute and were invited to shoot.

Then there was another role of a nurse - in the movie "Big Break". She played the role of Alla Stukalina in "Yurkin Dawns", Rimma Pajitnova in "It's Easy to Be Kind". There was another interesting picture - "We didn't pass it" by the famous director Ilya Frez. Irina Kalinovskaya, a beginner actress at that time, was very surprised to receive an invitation to this shooting. Her cinematic character was a young intern, an English teacher. Irina was very worried, because at school she studied German, and at the theater institute - French. So I was thinking about how to play the “Englishwoman” correctly, because she did not know this language at all, and according to the script it was necessary to pronounce at least some minimum of phrases. Ilya Abramovich Frez offered to assign a teacher to her so that she would learn the necessary text. For him, the main thing was not knowledge of the language, but the fact that Kalinovskaya was suitable according to the parameters he had invented. She knew very well who she was shooting for. But at that time she already had a couple of significant roles on the theater stage. Therefore, in her opinion, they turned to herattention in the capital and offered a job in the cinema.

On the same set with the "star"

In the mid-seventies of the twentieth century, Irina Kalinovskaya found herself on the same set with Andrei Mironov, who was super popular at that time. It was a picture of George Natanson "Popular wedding". She remembers that period of her life with special warmth. Mironov was a very cheerful, mischievous, incredibly creative person. He was expected on the set as a huge gift, because in parallel he starred in several more tapes.

Once Irina Kalinovskaya, an actress whose personal life has always aroused a certain interest, especially after a long affair with actor Alexander Fatyushin, said that, apparently, Andrey did not have time to read the script, therefore, after looking at the material, he was very upset, repeating all the time, how could he play a scoundrel and not understand it. He was reassured by the whole team, and he was worried, thinking about what kind of hack he was.

"Shchukins" will always understand each other

It was very easy for Irina to work in tandem with Mironov. Andrey was quite mobile, easy person. And Irina Kalinovskaya, the actress, explained such creative contact and mutual understanding by the fact that both of them were “Shchukins”, therefore, they spoke the same professional language. He sympathized with her, but always behaved very correctly, not allowing anything superfluous. And Irina enjoyed this charming relationship.

Mironov had a hard time filming, because he was very busy at that time: he came to one city in the morning, worked, and flew to another in the evening. And so every day. Irina also had several paintings in parallel, and in the evenings she also worked in the theater. But she was young and tireless: she got tired, went to bed, woke up and ran to work.

Mossovet Theatre, which was legendary

She was invited to these walls when Irina was still a student. She played her first role on this stage in 1969 with Vadim Beroev (known for his leading role in the film Major Whirlwind) and Tatyana Bespalova. It was a wonderful performance "Spring Waters". The director was Galina Sergeevna Anisimova-Vulf, and the curator was Zavadsky.

The young actress was surprised that before stepping onto the stage and finishing the performance, Zavadsky himself approached her and kissed her hand. It was very touching. She was always shy, because she was only an aspiring actress, and he was a master. But this theater has always had such a beautiful relationship.

Maretskaya, Ranevskaya and others…

Irina Kalinovskaya, whose biography is not very well known to a large circle of viewers, went on the same stage with the legendary actresses and actors of the twentieth century: Rostislav Plyatt, Faina Ranevskaya, Lyubv Orlova, Vera Maretskaya … She happened to work with Maretskaya in the performances of Petersburg dreams” and “Million for a smile”. She and Plyatta Kalinovskaya simply idolized. They were excellent theatrical partners of the Vakhtangov school. Working with them was surprisingly easy and interesting. They had amazing improvisation, there were fireworks of jokes on the stage. For the young actress, every appearance on stage was like the first time. Vera Martskaya admired Irina with her manner of working and preparing for the performance. Despite her vast experience and rather serious age, she was always very worried. Running to Kalinovskaya's dressing room before the performance, she constantly repeated everything and specified where, what and how to say.

Kalinovskaya Irina also recalled Ranevskaya, that she always kept a little apart, was upset if the audience did not greet her with applause on her first stage appearance. Then she played the performance with a completely different state of he alth.

Kalinovskaya went to the Mayakovsky Theater after Zavadsky and Anisimova-Wulf passed away. Because the Mossovet Theater lacked a strong director's hand.

Legendary Mayakovka

When Irina Kalinovskaya, whose personal life interested admirers of her talent from the first appearance on the screen, went to Mayakovka, Armen Dzhigarkhanyan, Mark Zakharov played on the stage of this theater, Natalia Gundareva and Andrey Goncharov began their careers. Her husband then still kindly laughed at her: an artist of academic theaters rushed to the great stage.

But Irina really wanted to see all the ins and outs of the work within these walls. Mark Zakharov at that time staged "Rout". The theater was just full of emotions andsentiments. Gundareva came two years earlier than Irina. They had friendly relations, because Natalya studied with her husband Kalinovskaya, she was even busy in his graduation performance.

From actresses to teachers

Since 1981, Irina Kalinovskaya, whose films are often shown on TV today, began to get involved in pedagogy. She again sat down at the desk in the Pike. She felt that directing did not always suit her, something was missing for her. Probably, Irina Kalinovskaya, whose husband always lent her shoulder if necessary, simply outgrew her destiny to be just an actress. She worked at Pike until 1988, and then she and her husband moved to Krasnoyarsk, which she never regretted. There, her husband released a wonderful course, which was then taken in full force to the Pushkin Theater, and died. And Irina remained in Krasnoyarsk, but sometimes she comes to Moscow, which she still considers her home. And yet it is in Krasnoyarsk that Irina Kalinovskaya, an actress, spends most of her life. Her personal life is now exclusively in students. Teaching for her is a favorite thing, she is sure that she found herself much more in it than in acting.

She will no longer enter the stage due to her religious beliefs as a deeply religious person. In recent years, the beautiful Irina Kalinovskaya loves to go to church and attend services more.
