Valery Rashkin was born on March 14, 1955 in the small village of Zhilino, which belongs to the Kaliningrad region. Widely known for his work in the secretariat of the Moscow City Committee, is a member of the Presidium of the Central Committee of Communists of the Russian Federation, was elected a deputy of the State Duma.
Childhood and youth
Valery's parents, like many rural families at that time, had many children. From childhood, the boy, along with his brothers and sisters, worked hard, helped his father and mother earn money. Despite the fact that the future communist had practically no childhood, he speaks very warmly about this period of his life. He says that it was in childhood that he realized how important families are and that teamwork is the way to achieve the highest results in life.
Training
Valery Rashkin went to study at the Polytechnic Institute in Saratov and successfully graduated from the Faculty of Electronic Engineering and Instrumentation. Then he was sent to work at the Korpus enterprise, where he remained to work for as many as 17years. During his work, Rashkin went from a simple process engineer to the head of the assembly production. The team appreciated his strong character, which contributed to the rapid promotion.
Valery Rashkin: Communist Party. Beginning of political activity
Even then, Rashkin became the secretary of the party committee and did not leave the party all this time. Neither the collapse of the Soviet Union nor the general condemnation of the communists in the nineties frightened him. Rashkin Valery Fedorovich was actively involved in sports, received a master's degree in mountaineering. He has several sports awards. He became a doctor of economic sciences.
As for politics, in the early nineties Rashkin was a member of the Saratov Council of People's Deputies. Since 1993, he assumed the position of chairman of the Saratov Regional Committee. And a year later he became a member of the Saratov Regional Duma. Valery Rashkin, firmly standing on ideological positions, was noticed by Gennady Zyuganov (leader of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation), who made him his confidant. Until 1999, Rakshin worked as an assistant to a State Duma deputy. And in December 1999 he himself became a member of the State Duma of the third convocation from the Saratov district.
In 2000, he tried to lead the region, running for governor, but could not register - he was denied, accusing of bribing voters. The party issued a statement that there is unfair competition in the region from other participants in the gubernatorial race.
Three years later, Valery Rashkin became a deputy again. The Communist Party won a decent number of votes, and Rashkin took a post in the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Communist Party. Rashkin Valery Fedorovich was subsequently repeatedly elected a deputy to the State Duma. He continues to work there today.
Valery Rashkin: biography of scandals
Rashkin kept his blog on the Internet and one of the entries caused a real scandal in the State Duma. It was about an amateur shooting tournament, which was held among the deputies. Rashkin wrote that he would like to have Putin as a target. Some time later, the politician added that he meant the photo, and not the President of the Russian Federation.
When the journalists asked the communist what he wanted to say by this, he laughed it off and said that "the blog entry does not mean anything." And it was not about President Putin allegedly. Valery Rashkin said that there are a lot of people with such a surname in our country, even he has an acquaintance Putin, who is not a president. However, the story was not so easily forgotten.
On the sidelines of the State Duma for many months they remembered that tournament and Rashkin's joke. The atmosphere was warmed up by the fact that Rashkin always spoke negatively towards Putin and called him a "representative of the oligarchs", while he himself stood on communist positions.
The MP also did not stay away from the situation with the annexation of Crimea. According to Rashkin, it was the communists who forced Putin to do this. Otherwise, the president himself would not have been able to take such a step. Above allother things, Rashkin is often associated with a certain "park group" of criminals. The media wrote that as soon as Rashkin is accused of something like this (crime, violation of the law, immoral acts), he bombards all possible instances with deputy requests, imitates a benefactor, making donations to churches or financing orphanages. At the moment, the information that he is a member of a criminal group remains only a rumor and has not been officially confirmed.
A little personal
At the moment the deputy is married, his wife is a psychologist by profession. Rashkin raised two sons, who have long grown up and started their own families. As for hobbies, Rashkin likes mountain climbing. He visited many peaks of the Caucasus together with a group of friends of interest.
