In school textbooks, the word "devotion" is defined as something inanimate, feminine, 3rd declension. Today, in many dictionaries, this term is marked "obsolete" next to it, indicating that the word is obsolete. Although this is completely unfair, devotion is, of course, not just a noun, it is an amazing quality that, unfortunately, not everyone possesses. More recently, it inspired people to exploits, was sung in literature, and good, soul-stirring films were made based on it. This concept was the engine of life processes taking place not only in Russia, but throughout the world.

Human Quality

Devotion is the concentrate of all noble qualities. The main synonym of this word is fidelity. This is the steadfastness of convictions, dedication, commitment. This quality has several pronounced emotional colors. The meaning of the word "devotion" absorbed the meaning of constancy and dedication, the ability to make self-sacrifice, contrary to one's pride and personal principles.

By the way, acting unnecessarily for noble reasons, completely giving away your moral and physical resources, in a word, wasting yourself, you can cause serious damage to your psycho-emotional state.

Devotion is a quality of a living being based primarily on love and affection. It manifests itself not only in a measured life, but also in difficult, extreme circumstances. This is the willingness to unconditionally perform actions and deeds so that the object to which devotion is expressed is most comfortable existing in this world.

Work

Devotion is expressed not only in relation to living beings, such as relatives, loved ones, friends. There is a more abstract intangible meaning. Such as dedication. This is the quality that distinguishes the employees of an organization, company, corporations, a group of people who go to the end, in the name of the execution or movement of the main, primary idea.

Moved by devotion to the common or their own cause, many refuse more promising, highly paid work, deprive themselves of many moral and material benefits. Of course, when the work brings pleasure, the employee has a certain talent for it, then there is nothing wrong with that. When the opposite is true, there is a certain amount of discontent and tension. It is these factors that can cause further psychological disorders.

You can be a devotee of a person named ideals. There is another kind of this quality that intersects so closely with fanaticism - this is devotion to religious beliefs.

Against its background, there have always been wars all over the wide world, which, of course, were arranged by fanatics who divided people into faithful and unfaithful. Suchthe movements of aggressive people are dangerous, causing great damage to the cultural and historical values of mankind. Wars on religious grounds have never stopped, especially in Muslim countries, and it is unlikely that this will ever end.

Loy alty is a certain altruism. One movie that speaks of such pure quality is a picture about a dog named Hachiko.

The movie is based on a true story that took place in Japan when the dog was waiting for his owner on the train tracks, years after his death.

This story moves me to tears. In the Land of the Rising Sun, a monument to the faithful dog Hachiko was erected. But in fact, if you delve a little deeper, then the monument was erected not to a four-legged waiting friend, but to devotion - to this truly amazing human quality.
