Sir Elton John was named Reginald Dwight at birth. And a great event took place on March 25, 1947 in the cozy English town of Pinner. Since the boy's father was a military man, he rarely appeared at home. In 1962, the parents of the future knight divorced, and his mother took up his upbringing.
