Irina Vorontsova is a world famous musician. Music education
Irina was born in the capital of Russia, the city of Moscow. From a young age she was fond of singing. Seeing her daughter's attraction to vocal art, her parents decided to give her a musical education. Until 1967, Ira studied at the Gnessin Moscow Special Secondary School of Music, where she chose music theory as her specialization. From 1967 to 1972 she was educated at the Moscow Conservatory. Here she preferred the theoretical and composing faculty.
Irina is learning from the great maestros. She studies solfeggio with A. Agazhanov, learns the magical world of harmony from S. Grigoriev, V. Protopopov introduces her to the genre of polyphonic music. Vorontsova wrote a thesis on the topic“Properties of consonance in Borodin's harmony”.
Creative Dawn
In 1978, I. Vorontsova defended her dissertation on the topic “T. Khrennikov's style and musical language”. Later, Irina holds the position of scientific secretary of the theoretical department.
At conferences she has to give lectures on topics related to the actual problems of the pedagogical activity of professional musicians. With great pleasure he is engaged in composing practice, where he proves to be a talented author. With the same enthusiasm, Irina Vorontsova performs songs written by her.
