In 1965, Olga, then still Sorokina, got a job as a senior researcher at the Institute of Philosophy of the USSR Academy of Sciences. It was here that the fateful meeting of a young girl with her future husband, Alexander Zinoviev, took place. Olga was very lucky with her husband. He was a truly great man, whose writings are considered relevant even today. By and large, he is known as the creator of the theory of social logic. Its essence was that a person is guided not only by natural instincts, but also by his social position.
In addition, Alexander Zinoviev was the authorseveral books that were harshly critical of the Communist Party and the order that it established. Naturally, in those years, such behavior was considered unacceptable. Therefore, in 1978, the Soviet authorities gave the scientist a tough ultimatum: prison or the life of an immigrant. The Zinoviev family chose the latter option and left the Soviet Union.
Arriving in Germany
Having landed in Germany, Olga Zinovieva and her husband learned the sad news. The communist authorities deprived them of their citizenship of the USSR, all awards and positions - branded traitors to the Motherland without the right to appeal.
