The Russian movement of schoolchildren is an organization designed to pay attention not only to education, but also to the upbringing of the younger generation. And even though it is still very young, the results of the work already inspire its members, creators, and curators to new feats.
History of RDSh
On October 29, 2015, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on the creation of a new nationwide public organization - the Russian Movement of Schoolchildren.
And already in May next year, the first congress of the Russian Movement of Schoolchildren (RDSH) took place on the basis of Moscow State University. Lomonosov, where the main goals and objectives of the organization were determined, the composition of the coordinating council was elected and symbols were presented.
Politicians, figures of culture and art of the Russian Federation, experts, teachers, students and, of course, schoolchildren themselves took part in the work of the congress.
Charter of RDS
At the founding congress of the organization, the charter of the Russian movement of schoolchildren was also adopted.
The document states that the RDS works on the basis ofself-government, equality, voluntary participation, publicity and legitimacy.
According to the charter, the highest governing body of the organization - the Congress - is convened every three years.
Emblem
The RDS emblem was developed by young designers who came to the Tavrida forum. They analyzed more than 1000 works of children from all over the country, identified common elements in them, and got an emblem in which everything is not accidental.
It consists of three intersecting circles of the color of the Russian tricolor. Their intersection symbolizes the unity of the approach to the development and activities of the organization. In the center of the logo, inside the intersection, there is a book - a symbol of knowledge.
Anthem of RDS
The music for the movement's anthem was written absolutely free of charge by composer Igor Krutoy, and the lyrics by poetess Jahan Pollyeva.
As Igor Yakovlevich noted, he did not write the song for it to become some kind of call to action or a slogan. Its main goal is to create a beautiful and modern composition that children would like to listen to and sing. It was Krutoy who wanted Jahan Pollyeva to come up with the lyrics for the song.
The authors are sure that the work will become a real anthem of the RDS and all schoolchildren.
The composition was performed by students of the Academy of Igor Krutoy.
Goals of the organization
The main goals of the Russian movement of schoolchildren are to promote the improvement of policy in the education of schoolchildren and the formation of the personality of students in accordance with the value system of Russian society.
These targets willaddressed in several directions:
- personal development;
- civic engagement;
- military-patriotic;
- information and media direction.
Personal Development
Personal development should be promoted by several directions. The organizers believe that in the Russian movement of schoolchildren it is:
- Creativity. Festivals and competitions, cultural, educational and leisure programs, creative projects are organized for children. The movement will provide support and help in the promotion and development of children's groups.
- Promotion of he althy lifestyle. This should be facilitated by festivals and competitions, the popularization of the TRP complex, the work of sports sections in schools, thematic educational programs, tourist meetings.
- Career guidance activities. A successful person is a person who has realized himself in his favorite profession. But in order to succeed, you need to choose the right profession. To do this, we need to help develop children's projects, organize profile meetings of various scales, hold games, seminars, and other educational programs.
In addition to the events, the participants of which are the schoolchildren themselves, events are being held to improve the skills of the teaching staff working with children in these areas.
We need an active citizen
Civic activity is designed to develop the following areas of the Russian movement of schoolchildren:
- search work;
- studying history andlocal history;
- cultivating a safety culture.
They are embodied in activities such as:
- functioning of search teams whose activities are aimed at preserving the memory of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War;
- safety school work;
- volunteering.
Volunteering should be mentioned separately, since this activity has become very widespread among students. Students can practice one or more of the following activities:
- Environmental (studying the nature of the small homeland and participating in actions for the protection of animals and nature).
- Social (assistance to socially vulnerable groups).
- Cultural (assistance in holding cultural events).
- Victory Volunteering (participation in promotions and events related to the preservation of the memory of the Great Patriotic War).
- Event (participation in educational, sports, social events).
Military-patriotic focus
The development of the military-patriotic trend among schoolchildren is promoted by the All-Russian military-patriotic club Yunarmiya, which aims to educate a new generation of patriotic-minded youth, smart, courageous, citizens who love their homeland, ready to defend it at any moment.
In addition to Yunarmiya, there are a number of patriotic clubs that more and more schoolchildren are actively joining.
As part of the military-patriotic direction, the followingEvents:
- Profile events aimed at increasing interest in serving in the Russian Armed Forces: military training camps, military sports games, promotions, competitions.
- Educational programs: seminars, interactive games, master classes, meetings with people related to military activities.
- Increasing the qualifications of teachers and leaders of military-patriotic clubs and public organizations.
Information and media direction
As part of the information and media direction, the Russian Movement of Schoolchildren holds events whose objectives are:
- ensuring effective media interaction with state and public institutions;
- clarification of the development prospects of the RDS;
- information development at the local level (creation of wall newspapers by schoolchildren, preparation of articles for local media, maintaining groups in social networks, etc.);
- preparation of information materials for schoolchildren;
- upgrading the qualifications of teachers.
Everything on the shelves
So, it's time to sum up and tell "just about the difficult" in the "question-answer" format.
1. What does RDS do?
The activities of the Russian Movement of Schoolchildren are aimed at organizing leisure, educating and creating conditions for the development of children in an interesting direction.
2. Why is this needed?
This is necessary toschoolchildren knew and honored the history of the country and their native land, were patriots, took part in various events, knew how to work in a team and developed leadership qualities.
3. How to get started?
Any student over 8 years old can become a member of the RDS. Children and parents make their own decisions about participation in the movement. If the child wants it, he can choose any direction that he likes right at his school.
4. What is the structure of the organization?
The movement includes departments of different levels: school, municipal, regional, all-Russian.
Back to the Pioneers?
Some believe that the Russian movement of schoolchildren is a step into the past. The movement resembles the All-Union Pioneer Organization named after V. I. Lenin.
Indeed, RDSh and pioneers have a lot in common:
- identical age members;
- education of schoolchildren in the spirit of state and national values;
- structure: presence of congresses, chairmen and co-chairmen, regional and local "branches";
- funding: the funds on which the organization "lives" are allocated from the state budget.
The presence of similarities does not mean at all that the Russian Movement of Schoolchildren is a modern copy of the pioneer organization, because there are some differences.
- Essence and name. Pioneer is a public organization, and RDSh is a public movement. Feel the difference? Not? Let's explain then. The organization is based onmembership in it, and the movement - on the principles of voluntary entry.
- Ideology. Everyone remembers that the pioneers "held" on the state ideology. According to the creators of the RDSh, it has nothing to do with politics or ideology.
Even if the founders of the RDSh decided to take all the good things from the pioneer organization and combine it all with the concept of the modern movement of schoolchildren, what's wrong with that? Probably nothing.
Many are convinced that our children need the Russian movement of schoolchildren, that this is their chance to become worthy people. Going in for sports and public affairs, studying the history of the country, actively and usefully spending their leisure time, the guys become worthy citizens of our great and vast motherland.
