Until now, the choir exists as an integral part of the Philharmonic, often appears in the posters of Orenburg and recruits people of different ages to train.

Creative path

The Orenburg Philharmonic reached its peak in the 80s. She was allocated a picturesque building in the central region of Orenburg. Over the years, the cultural center has changed several leaders, among them: outstanding cultural workers L. D. Bronsky, K. I. Kostyushin, O. A. Aziev, A. K. Gabrielov. At the moment, the director of the Orenburg Philharmonic is Igor Petrovich Golikov, a correspondent for the International Academy of Culture and Arts, a diploma winner of the Vivat, Maestro award and an honored Russian cultural figure. He took the post back in 1983, and the status and popularity of the place retains and keeps at the level until now.

The scene has seen many talented artists and famous bands. The Pyatnitsky choir performed here more than once, the outstanding voices of Russia: L. Zykina, A. Nasedkin, D. Matsuev, V. Tretyakov and others. The Symphony Orchestra of E. Svetlanova continues to perform regularly at the Philharmonic.

Also, the Orenburg Philharmonic has many conceptual projects that gather the talents of Russia and the world, and are of interest to citizens and guests. Every year since 1988, a festival of folklore art has been held,named after the famous Orenburg shawl. Jazz festival "Eurasia" since 1996 has been accepting foreign talents. Classical music deserves special attention at the Palmyra Steppe Symphony festival. That is, the site lives a busy life, offers events for any listener.

Philharmonia has several independent blocks. Today it includes:

People far from academic education can hear available information on musical literature, history and theory. Recruitment is underway in several groups under the guidance of musicologists N. Pitetskaya, A. Zazulin, A. Frolov and E. Kislyuk. The lecture hall gathers residents of the region who are not indifferent to music.

The posters of Orenburg are full of concerts and events. Both modern Russian pop artists and representatives of academic schools drop in here. The arrival of the vocal and instrumental ensemble "Ariel", the jazz group Coffetime band was announced. The classic Mozart Requiem will be performed by the chamber choir.
