How to get to the station?

Very close to the Setun platform is a bus stop of the same name. Buses No. 16, 45, 178, 180, 198, 794, 794k, 840, 418, 560m, 597 stop here. They connect the metro station"Kuntsevskaya", Kyiv railway station, Fili and the 66th quarter of Kuntsevo, the station "Molodyozhnaya" and "Autocentre" and "Odintsovo".

Kuntsevskaya metro station is located not far from the Setun railway stop. From there you need to drive 8 stops on bus number 16 or one more on route 178.

From the metro station "Molodezhnaya" - only 3 stops by bus 794К. These are the closest locations to the platform.

Station description

Station Setun has only two side platforms, access to which is carried out through underground passages. There are also verandas sheltered under a canopy for waiting for the train. When exiting the platforms, passengers pass through the turnstiles.

The Setun platform has a direct connection with the stations of the Savelovsky and Kursk directions using multi-unit trains.

The train will take passengers to the Belorussky railway station in 22 minutes. Many use this type of transport to get to the central part of the city to work or take a walk on the weekends. It's faster and more convenient than ground public transport.

Platform reconstruction

Since January 2017, a major reconstruction of this station has been underway. The construction of a modern island platform and an underground passage to it began. The reconstruction is connected with the expansion of the main routes between the capital and Odintsovo, as well as the desire to launch an accelerated movement of electric trains and suburban trains. Builders will eventually add a third and fourth path to the existing ones.

The new passenger platform can already be seen in all its glory, it meets all modern requirements. Beautiful new awnings from the weather have already been made, pedestrian paths are covered with paving slabs, decent lighting has been installed, beautiful panel fences have been made for the territory from the city limits.

Underground tunnel connected the new platform to the place where people exited after the turnstiles. Passengers can safely move from one part of the station to another and wait for the train in a place adapted for this.

In the waiting room there is a timetable for electric trains of the Setun platform, there are benches on which passengers are waiting for the train, a number of turnstiles have a large capacity. At the moment, most of the work has been completed, but the reconstruction has not yet been fully completed.
