It has become absolutely natural that the topic of terrorism in the modern world and its information field is one of the most relevant. Already since 2000, the society began to associate the Middle East (and in general everything connected with Islam) with such a concept as terrorism. The threat to society posed by gangs is very great, but at the same time they cannot be directly linked to Islam. Since in this case it is not entirely correct to associate the emergence of such groups with religion.

What is terrorism?

The practice and ideology of cruelty, which is based solely on illegal and violent actions that are aimed at making a decision by the authorities, this is terrorism. In this case, the threat to society is colossal, since the main task is achieved through intimidation and physical destruction of the population. It is worth noting that this is not the goal itself, but onlyway to achieve it. In terrorism, the very attitude towards killing is defined as a necessity. Roughly speaking, a certain verdict is passed on a group of people, an association, a country or an entire religion, which is accused of almost all mortal sins. The only way to solve this problem is its complete physical destruction. This solves its own problem, be it political, economic or social.

Terrorism is a threat to society! With the help of the fear that he sows in society, you can control those people who are subject to influence. At the same time, not just a banal extermination or murder takes place, but also demonstrative executions, beheadings and other terrible things are carried out, which the attackers capture on a photo or video for subsequent broadcasts, as proof of the seriousness of their intentions.

What is an act of terrorism?

A terrorist act is any action (be it an explosion, capture, arson, etc.) that has the effect of intimidating society, creates a danger to human life and the risk of causing property or physical damage. The main goal of such manipulations remains to destabilize the existing government or political relations in the international arena.

Any country and a single person can be "under the gun" of terrorists, if they see the need for it. The definition of terrorism in any country is almost the same.

Backstage games of terrorist organizations

Now modern types of terror (aspart of the struggle) are used quite actively by many radical groups and organizations. But there is another question worth mentioning. If everything is clear with radical people who use fear as a manipulator of public mood, then what about those who apply pressure not on ordinary people, but on the government and heads of state? At the same time, the civilian population remains untouched. Thus, almost any person who committed the murder can be attributed to terrorists. This is the cunning of the heads of many states, who can easily declare any organization terrorist.

Middle East

From 2001 to this day, the Middle East remains the most tense place with a large number of terrorist organizations. It should be noted right away that all the gangs and detachments that are there are fighting mainly with the United States and EU countries. This is due to the fact that a large number of countries located in this region were colonies of the same Great Britain, France, and America for a long time. But even despite the seeming independence of these countries, their entire economy still has a colonial character. And their true owners are those countries against which the wrath of terror is now directed.

Thus, in order to keep the economy of these countries under their control, the "colonizers" constantly destabilize the political situation and since 2001 have been conducting full-fledged military operations. Of course, all the forces of the East are quite scattered among themselves, they have much worse weapons than the countries of the firstworld, therefore, as one of the most accessible and effective options for influencing, they use terror methods.

I would like to say that partly the society itself, against which terrorist aggression is directed, is to some extent responsible for this. After all, if citizens allow a person with a deliberately extremely aggressive foreign policy to come to power, then it is quite natural that after some time they themselves will become victims of the regime.

Thus, it is necessary for everyone to be personally responsible for their political views. This is no longer a matter of morality or morality, but an exclusively logical military-political response to a destructive foreign policy towards other states or peoples. In other words, if the tanks level another city to the ground, and the resistance forces do not have the opportunity to adequately respond, then they fight with the weapons that are available to them.

Terrorism and extremism

You can hear the phrase “Terrorism and extremism are a threat to society!” more and more often. Naturally, it is difficult to argue with this, but first you need to understand the concepts and some definitions.

Extremism is a kind of propensity for the most extreme measures and radical views, but at the same time, a person who is an adherent of such a policy is nothing more than a theorist. The terrorist is a committed practitioner. Any extreme, whether it be radical reforms in the economy or calls for the murder of "infidels", is complete nonsense, since such a view ofthings leave no room for maneuver or retreat.

When extremism does not bring the desired results, the next phase is launched, because these two concepts go side by side, but they should not be confused. The threat to society (both in extremism and terrorism) directly depends on many factors: which parties to the conflict are involved, their purpose, methods, etc. But be that as it may, although these manifestations of aggression depend on each other, it is still worth capturing the fine line that distinguishes them. For example, any terrorist is necessarily an extremist, but at the same time, not any extremist can kill.

Terrorism as a threat to Russia's national security

What can be one of the most powerful tools in the struggle of nations on the international stage? The answer to this question is very simple, because with the help of terrorism, one country can easily undermine the economic condition of the second, undermine its spirit and turn the citizens of the state against the ruling power.

Based on the fact that the position of the Russian Federation is currently strong, and the country is becoming more confident in the political arena, some followers of the unipolar world do not want to have such a recalcitrant neighbor. That is why on the territory of the country, now in one part of it, then in another, terrorist attacks begin to flare up.

Needless to say, at the moment there is a large amount of evidence from which it becomes clear that the United States sponsors a huge number of such terrorist organizations operating onaround the world. All these steps, one way or another, are aimed at weakening Russia, destabilizing all neighboring regions that border on the Russian Federation. We have already seen an example of this with Ukraine and the military coup in this country. Thus, terrorism as a threat to Russia's national security is a rather urgent problem, but it should be understood that the perpetrator is not as dangerous as his customer.

Terrorism and extremism in the Caucasus

As for the Caucasus region in the Russian Federation, for quite a long time it was the most "hot spot". In 1997 alone, 1290 terrorist acts were carried out, and 1728 after 15 years.

Terrorism is a threat to society! We are against terrorism! Such statements are increasingly heard in the Caucasus. But there is also such a thing as Wahhabism. Supporters of this trend are actively fighting not only with the Russian federal troops, but with all Christianity as a whole. This confrontation is especially relevant in the northern part.

Naturally, it would be wrong to say that all followers of Islam are waging an irreconcilable war with the rest of the world. Such methods of struggle can be directed in absolutely any direction. At the same time, the background will be successfully adjusted to the traditions of faith and supposedly religious texts, in which this confrontation is described as a Holy War.

The TV does not stop talking every day that terrorism is a threat to society. The news is filled with a huge number of reports from the scene. After reviewingmost of them, we can make a full-fledged conclusion that all acts that are somehow connected with extremism and bandit formations are ethno-religious. In fact, it can be said with certainty that the struggle between Christian and Islamic civilizations is in full swing, and terrorism and extremism are a threat to society.

Procedure during a terrorist attack

It is impossible to say with complete certainty that modern man is completely protected from this or that manifestation of aggression. The government of any state is trying to do everything to protect its citizens from terrorist attacks. But, given that terrorism is a threat to society, emergencies can occur at any moment. The main thing that can save a life is the ability to think sensibly during a terrorist attack and take the necessary actions in time. It is important to always keep yourself in control. • You need to examine yourself for injuries.
• Before you do anything, you need to calm down as much as possible, not forgetting the possibility of another explosion.
• In case of injury or blockage under rubble, in no case should you try to do anything yourself.

Information terrorism

Thanks to the widespread "netization", some non-state structures that are engaged in provocative activities are trying to come to the fore to all the already well-known world players in the field of international relations. It's called cyber terrorism. A threat to the information society can lead to completely unexpected consequences.

Cyber-terrorism is the conscious and purposeful use of this or that information to force the top of the state to certain economic, political or religious decisions. An important factor in this attack is the emotional impact on public opinion.

Now, among the already large number of variations in the execution of terrorist acts, the information sphere comes to the fore. Information itself can be seen as a necessary human resource that can be used as a weapon to create controversy if desired. Thus, with the cardinal changes in world globalization, the issue of quality assurance of one's own (meaning national) security comes to the fore.

Of course, terrorism is a threat to society, the dangers of which lie not only in the banal use of "brute force", but also, if I may say so, "soft power", which is based on the manipulation of the psychology of society. Due to the fact that the roleinformation in such a war is dominant, many Western countries have begun to actively develop new orientations to protect (and maybe attack) the information field from possible threats from outside. This can be called the modern concept of "network war".

Modern terrorism

At the moment, along with the most dangerous viruses and diseases, terrorism occupies a special place. The threat to modern society is obvious, and there is no effective cure for these problems in the modern world. Consider a few trends that can be attributed to the terror of our time:

1. Increase in the geography of distribution (hence, the victims) as a result of terrorist attacks.
2. The mutual influence of certain factors (economic, political and others) on the emergence, spread or intensification of terrorism.
3. The organization of gangs is increasing.
4. Strong relationship of different gangs with organized crime (including intercontinental).
5. Increased financing of terrorists by customers.
6. The desire of bandits to seize weapons of mass destruction.
7. Terrorism is used as a weapon to interfere in the country's politics.

Based on the foregoing, we can summarize that modern terrorism is a threat to the individual, society, state, economy, religion and freedom. Any organization of anti-terrorist activities must take into account all its trends, which, unfortunately, are developing every minute.

ISIS (ISIS)

Terrorism -This is a threat to society! Such a statement is underscored by one organization that has recently become very "popular" with its shocking videos of executions, kidnappings of diplomats, consuls and the capture of Mosul. The "Islamic State" - ISIS (ISIS) - is trying to position itself as some kind of "team" of particularly cruel and fearless gangs, which are based solely on radical Islamism and their Salafi interpretation of Islam. In fact, if you look at all their goals and methods to achieve them, the same scenario is visible everywhere. Terrorism is a threat to society, and the harm that it brings can only be compared with the Ebola virus, which is also growing uncontrollably and infecting more people every day. But based on some of the actions of the IS organization, one can safely assure that they carry out their atrocities not so much because of religious beliefs, but more because of geopolitical predispositions.

The main goal of ISIS is the creation of a certain state in the territories of Syria and Iraq. Terrorism is a growing threat to society, and this can be evidenced by the fact that the peoples of these countries, no matter how paradoxical it may sound, support the attackers. Some experts argue that this is happening because the terrorists act cunningly - they always share the captured and looted with the people.

Despite the fact that the methods of terrorists have not yet been fully developed, work in this direction is already bearing fruit. Security measures are being stepped up around the world. Terrorism, subject to somesocio-political situations in a number of countries, one way or another will lead to a totalitarian-democratic system, the main tools of which will be not only terrorist attacks, but also information. Terrorism is a threat to society. And having considered its subtext, we can confidently say that this is a natural component of the society of the entire modern world. Naturally, something needs to be done about this, and as soon as possible.
