Heritage of the people
And the Russian people can truly be proud of their cultural heritage, which has endured a lot in the course of its long history. The Russian peasant, the peasant, had to endure both the excesses of the feudal lords, and complete enslavement, and the numerous wars in which he had to participate, and strife, and state reforms. All this formed the Russian identity, unlikeness to others, and is reflected in museums and galleries.
