The fate of the boy, born in Mumbai in 1972, was practically predetermined. By the time his son was born, his father had already taken place as a well-known producer, his mother left a successfully developing acting career for the sake of the family. It is not surprising that since childhood Karan Johar dreamed of connecting his life with the world of cinema, which he literally knew from the inside. However, those around were convinced that the restless child with the obvious inclinations of a hypocrite would become a popular actor. As it turned out later, they were wrong.

Dreams of glory did not prevent the child from being a diligent student. ATFirst of all, Karan Johar was interested in foreign languages, the culture of other states. Even in his school years, he perfectly mastered the French language, in which he later received a master's degree, graduating from a prestigious Indian college. The first success instilled self-confidence in the young director. Three years after the release of the melodrama Everything in Life Happens, Karan Johar took up a new film project. His filmography has acquired another drama, called "In Sorrow and in Joy." The next creation of the director was presented to the audience in 2001. Johar's second film grossed even more than the first, with Shah Rukh Khan once again starring in the title role.

The script for the drama was once again written by Karan himself. The focus is on the family of a we althy businessman, consisting of the head of the family, his wife and two sons, one of whom is adopted. An adopted child disappoints his father by secretly marrying the wrong girl. Being expelled from home, he moves with his young wife to England. However, a few years later, his grown brother begins to look for him, dreaming of returning him to the family.

"Never Say Goodbye" (2006)

Films made by the director have always been successful at the box office, and the drama “Never Say Goodbye”, the script of which he traditionally wrote with his own hand, was no exception. Of course, the image of the central character of the tape was created by the famous Shah Rukh Khan.

The events of the picture do not take place in India, but in the States, in particular in New York. The protagonist meets a beautiful girl, falls in love with her in the first second. However, the girl suffers from endless conflicts in her family, which began from the day her father died. She only has enough time to take care of her relatives, she never thinks about entertainment. Trying to win the beauty's heart, the main character asks for help from a friend, but he is also fascinated by her.
