Troparevsky forest park, its history and modern look

Troparevsky Forest Park is a comfortable and well-equipped family vacation spot located on the southwestern side of Moscow. By analogy with the Sochi Arboretum, it is divided into two halves by Leninsky Prospekt. Initially, its name was associated with the XXII Party Congress, but as communist ideas left, it was named after the neighboring district - Troparevsky.

Initially, when Moscow was not yet expanding at such a pace, the Troparevsky forest park was a green forest that extended further to the Moscow region. The arrangement of the park began from the central square, from which, like the rays of the sun, paths and alleys scattered.

At first, when civilization had not yet touched this place so much, walking people often met not only squirrels or cowardly hares, but even shy moose. Unfortunately, now the Troparevsky forest park is densely surrounded by residential buildings and there are no large forest animals.

But it's notmeans that all the animals have completely disappeared in the grove. The squirrels there are quite tame and it is often possible to feed them. And sometimes a hare will flash by or a mole will crawl out of its mink.

Despite the departure of large animals to wilder forests, many birds remain in the forest park. For their easy wintering, visitors and park keepers hang feeders. Since 2002, the grove has been recognized as a landscape reserve and a specially protected natural object.

Children's entertainment in Troparevo

Residents of nearby areas have long appreciated the opportunity to take a walk in the forest, which has all the signs of an ennobled area. For children, this is just a haven. Nothing limits their imagination, and after steep descents from various wooden slides, you can safely look at outlandish birds in the aviary and then run to the river to feed the fish.

In 1975, as a result of the construction of a dam, a pond was formed from the Ochakovka River flowing in the reserve. In the heat, not only residents of nearby houses, but also remote areas come to the Troparevsky forest park to freshen up and sunbathe

A beach is organized on the pond with all the attributes necessary for safe swimming. Changing rooms, lifeguards on duty contribute to a relaxing holiday.

In the spring you can watch a brood of wild ducks. By autumn, the offspring grows up and flies south. In summer, many people want to watch the birds bathe and just feed them.
