Early years

Sergey Lisovsky was born on April 25, 1960 in Moscow, in the family of a prominent scientist in the field of radio electronics and a school physics teacher. Graduated from a specialized physics and mathematics school. In 1983 he graduated from the Moscow Power Engineering Institute. Graduated as a radiophysics engineer.

By distribution, he began working as an engineer at the Central Radio Engineering Institute, a year later he switched to Komsomol work. Since 1987, he began to engage in self-supporting activities in the field of leisure. In 1989registered one of the first production companies in the Soviet Union - LIS'S, remembered for the most popular programs of those years, including Afisha, Morning Mail, Brain Ring.

Television advertising pioneer

In 1992, Sergei Lisovsky founded the Premier SV advertising agency, which soon became the main advertising customer for the nationwide ORT channel. Almost all advertising content, with the exception of social advertising, was broadcast only through Premier SV. Moreover, in 1995 he took the position of General Director of CJSC ORT-Reklama. At that time, for the first time in practice, the company introduced the sale of the channel's airtime in accordance with the points of the rating. In 1997, the advertising company became the property of the ORT channel, and Badri Patarkatsishvili, the new financial director of ORT, became its general director.

The company "Premier Film", created by Lisovsky, became the founder of the Association to Combat Video Piracy and was the first in the country to start purchasing licensed products, initiating the formation of a legal media market.

According to some experts, Sergei Lisovsky made a very significant contribution to the election of President Boris Yeltsin in 1996. He became the general producer of the national election campaign under the slogan "Vote or lose" and a member of the campaign staff. Clinton's "Choose or Lose" campaign was taken as a model. Pop stars and movie stars campaigned for the presidential candidate on television,performances on Yeltsin's trips were accompanied by concerts by the most popular artists.

In June 1996, Lisovsky, together with Evstafiev, was detained while trying to take out a photocopier box with 538 thousand dollars from the White House. The news was reported by all Russian media resources, but no action was taken against the businessmen-loaders.

In 2000, he became a co-founder of the agro-industrial holding "Mosselprom", which specialized in the production of poultry meat. The first modern poultry complexes were built in the Moscow region. In 2011, 100% of the company was sold to the Cherkizovo group. According to some reports, the deal amounted to approximately $70-80 million.

In public service

Since 2004, Lisovsky has been representing the Kurgan Region in the Federation Council,issues of agrarian and food policy and nature management, being the first deputy chairman of the relevant committee. Photos of Sergei Fyodorovich Lisovsky from various parliamentary events regularly appear in the Russian press.

One of his latest initiatives was the creation of an association of distribution centers in Russia and support for a project to build four agricultural wholesale distribution centers in Moscow (on the cardinal points) and at least one in all metropolitan areas of the country.
