A few biographical facts
The future master of Russian journalism, racing driver and television commentator was born in Moscow on August 21, 1975. It is noteworthy that until the end of his studies in high school, Alexei Andronov had the surname Tkhostov, which belonged to his father, a native of Ossetia. By the way, the pedigree of our hero also inspires respect: dad was the head of the Department of Pathopsychology of Moscow State University, and grandfather was awarded the title of People's Artist of the Russian Federation.
Aleksey Andronov was never able to get a higher education. Entering the Faculty of Journalism, he plunged headlong into work, which eventually led to expulsion.
Career
Andronov began his correspondent work in the Book Review. A little later, he worked in such well-known newspapers as Sport-Express, Football Courier, Football-Express. On the SunsetIn the 1990s, the journalist hosted a review program called "European Football Week" on the television channels "TNT", "NTV-Plus Football".
For ten years, Alexei was the host of the information and analytical program "Free Strike". In addition, he was involved as a host in the popular World of Speed program.
At the 2002 and 2014 Winter Olympics, Andronov was also actively involved in commenting on biathlon competitions. The Summer Olympic Games also did not pass by the journalist. He was invited to host boxing tournaments between 2000 and 2012.
From 2002 to 2003, he was the official press officer of the Russian football team.
He was the anchor for the 2012 and 2013 Champions League finals.
Starting from November 2015, he moved to the newly opened TV channel Match TV.
Work in Ukraine
In 2004, Alexey Andronov broadcast the world championship in Formula 1 car racing on the Ukrainian ICTV channel. Alexey Mochanov was then his work partner. The same tandem worked at the First National in 2005.
Awards
Aleksey Andronov, whose biography continues to be filled with new professional achievements, was recognized as the best football commentator on the NTV-Plus channel for two years in a row (2011, 2012).
Personal preference
Andronov calls Borussia Dortmund his favorite club. Favorite players forjournalists are: Igor Akinfiev, Lothar Matthäus, Marco Materazzi. The ideal football commentator, according to Alexei, was the late Kote Makharadze.
Scandal situations
In June 2013, Alexey Andronov (his photo is provided in this article) said that the list of the best players of the season approved by the head of the Russian Football Union was “ridiculous”. To which the chairman of the RFU Simonyan called the journalist "an absolute amateur", and his activities - "graphomania".
In July 2013, Andronov was suspended from commenting on matches involving Spartak Moscow. This incident was due to the club exercising its veto power over the journalist. The restriction was canceled only in the autumn of next year.
At the end of 2015, on his page in one of the social networks, Alexei spoke extremely obscenely about the Russian world. As a result, the event received a wide response in society. One of the consequences was the execution of an application by lawyer Ilya Remeslo to the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation and the FSB with a demand to analyze Andronov's words for extremism. As a result, the commentator apologized and closed the account.
