In June 2014, the twenty-first international conference on librarianship took place. Guests were hosted by Crimea. Kerch was in the most difficult situation, so the power engineers worked heroically, because this city received only three megawatts from the thermal power plant. And now the first thread of the energy bridge along the bottom of the Kerch Strait has been laid! There is electricity in Crimea!

Of course, rolling blackouts will continue until the work is completed, but enterprises have started working, factories and plants have come to life. And on December 3, the energy system of Crimea was completely synchronized with the UES of the Russian Federation along the Taman-Kamysh-Burun line. The Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation reported that the load will increase gradually and the entire capacity will be distributed equally to all municipalities. The tourist season last year showed all the inconveniences of the ferry crossing, all its weaknesses. And next season promises to be even more crowded.

Minister of Transport of Russia Maxim Sokolov summed up the work of the Kerch crossing over the past year and outlined plans for the future. The bridge will be built in three years. Russian Railways specialists in 2015 have already begun construction of access roads. The railway bridge will, apparently, be built in the firstqueue. For the construction of an automobile crossing, the definition of a contractor is still premature, design documentation is not ready. However, things are moving forward, surveys are being carried out, geologists are working. In the first half of 2016, the Tuzla Spit will already receive the first building materials.

Crimean Bridge

Wine companies of Kuban and Crimea decided to celebrate in their own way the construction of this fateful bridge connecting mainland Russia with peninsular Russia. Nineteen thousand meters of the bridge will be marked by nineteen thousand bottles of collection wine called "Crimean Bridge", which have just been placed in the cellars of wineries. The official launch of the bridge will be festive! That's when customers will see wine with these labels on sale.

From the Crimean side, the famous one hundred and twenty-year-old "Massandra" is responsible for the holiday - a legendary plant. Six thousand bottles of white muscat and six of sherry were laid there. The plant where champagne wines are made, Novy Svet, laid seven thousand bottles of Pinot Noir from Sevastopol grapes, most similar to Champagne berries. The Krasnodar side has pledged exactly the same number of wines of its own production. "Fanagoria" has created a noble drink from red grapes - a blend of "Saperavi" and "Cabernet Sauvignon". Winery "Chateau Taman" produced white wine in honor of the opening of the Crimean bridge, the plant "Sauk-Dere" - red.

Import substitution

Nurseries for growing seedlings are being created in Crimeagrapes. Already existing selection and genetic centers are financially supported, and new ones are being created. The Institute of Wine and Grape "Magarach" and the Nikitsky Botanical Garden solve the problem of providing the Crimea not only with grape seedlings, fruit and berry crops of high quality. Space

The achievements of the Crimean astronomers brought glory not only to the separate city of Evpatoria, but to the entire vast country of the Soviets. Here from ancient times there was one of the largest centers of space communications. After the collapse of the Union, the center practically ceased to exist. Now it is reopened - under the Russian tricolor. It was from this center that the interplanetary automatic stations of the Moon, Venus, and Mars were controlled.
