Gross domestic product shows the state of the country's economy. That is why economists pay special attention to it and offer various ways of developing and stimulating economic growth. GDP reflects the growth of material production. When calculating it, only the market and final cost of goods and services is taken into account. It does not include non-market relations, that is, transfers and self-employment, as well as financial flows and the value of intermediate goods. In general, GDP is the expenditure of the state, firms, consumers and the external economic sector, that is, the difference between imports and exports.
GDP is divided into two types:
1) Nominal, which is calculated in the prices of the current year. According to its level, our country ranks 10th in the world.
2) Real, which is expressed in relation to the nominal to the price index. It is mainly used to analyze the levels of economic development of a country in different periods of time.
Economic growth in Russia is a long-term upward trend in real GDP. It is the goal of every state. Based on it, various opportunities open up for social programs, poverty eradication, he alth care, education andsolutions to environmental problems. In order for the structure of Russia's GDP to change for the better, it is necessary to increase production for the extraction of natural resources, gas, water and electricity, since our country is rich in these benefits. Economists distinguish two factors of economic growth. The first is extensive, which means an increase in quantity. As a rule, it is not effective. The second is intense, meaning an increase in quality. The structure of Russia's GDP is currently the focus of attention of economists.
Besides all this, international trade is an important form of economic relations. Its facilities are competitive products with the best consumer properties. Russia's exports and imports are also of great importance, as they have a great impact on economic growth. Statistics show that a huge amount of imported products is imported into our country. This, of course, allows people to make choices when purchasing certain products. However, there are downsides, as foreign items are sold in larger quantities than domestic products. Therefore, the current situation is important and requires separate consideration.
In the end, I would like to conclude that the structure of Russia's GDP still has an improvement strategy. It consists in directing all resources towards the development of high technologies andreduction of energy intensity and material consumption of production. For now, economic growth in Russia will increase only if efforts are reflected in the government's social and economic policies. Then the structure of Russia's GDP may change for the better, and with it the standard of living in the country will rise significantly, thereby contributing to the development of the economy.
