So many people spend their entire lives in the shadows. In the shadow of great musicians, scientists, inventors. But sometimes they get the opportunity to become famous, but this glory has a negative connotation. So, for example, Conrad Murray became famous. This man was the personal attending physician of the "king" of pop, Michael Jackson. It was Murray who was accused of the unintentional murder of the musician and convicted for it. Today, however, Murray is free. And he plans to publish a book about his work for the benefit of the musician. Is it good?

Backstory

Millions of fans around the world still can't believe that Michael Jackson is gone. His songs have gained immortality. They inspire, they captivate. Michael's style will stay with us forever. It is not surprising that the fans did not believe for a moment that the idol passed away without outside help. After all, he was notold, and plans for the future built grandiose. His personal attending physician Conrad Murray, who was found guilty of killing the famous patient, stood in his way. Perhaps this is one of the few cases when the audience greeted the guilty verdict with tears of joy. After the trial, there were no doubts that Jackson was addicted to drugs. The negligent doctor was to blame. The jury deliberated for more than nine hours, as Murray's lawyer was very persuasive and persistently accused Jackson of self-administering a lethal injection. However, justice prevailed, and the court ruled that the doctor was guilty of an overdose of Propofol, which led to the death of the patient. The injected sleeping pills made him fall into an eternal sleep. One of the main evidence at the trial was photographs from the pathologist's laboratory, which show numerous traces of injections. Immediately after the announcement of the verdict, Conrad Murray was arrested and sentenced to 4 years in prison. He is also expected to lose his medical license.

Why is he free?

At the announcement of the verdict, Judge Michael Pastor was outraged by the fact that Conrad Murray never showed remorse and did not speak at the trial.

But two years later, the doctor was released. Enraged fans of the singer were waiting for him under the gates of the prison, wanting to return the physician back to jail, but this outcome was prevented by the district sheriff, who took the ex-cardiologist through the back door.

Why was Murray released early? On thatthe question was answered by the sheriff's press secretary, who explained that early release became possible due to the convict's solid work experience and the presence of a positive reference from the prison management. In it, the doctor was called a positive and calm prisoner. The singer's relatives were horrified by the news of the doctor's release. In their opinion, the "killer doctor" cannot be trusted to treat other people, and this is exactly what the ex-medical man intends to achieve.

No license

In 2011, Dr. Murray's license was revoked in Texas, Nevada and California. Today, however, attorney Chris Peckham filed an appeal with the Texas Supreme Court to restore his client's license. Peckham explains his actions by the fact that without the desire to help people, Murray would not have tried to return to work. At the same time, the lawyer calls the client a leading specialist, a good doctor and a caring person that patients need. However, it is quite clear that without the leniency of a California Supreme Court judge, it will be extremely difficult to restore a license in this state.

Some of Murray's clients came out in support of their doctor. In particular, 89-year-old Eliza Robertson, who underwent heart bypass surgery at the Murray Clinic, gave an extensive interview. She calls her doctor a savior and prays for his he alth. And the released physician himself believes that he can continue his practice, because after imprisonment he learns to live anew with God's help and achieve success.

His words

Conrad Murray talks about Michael Jackson often and with pleasure, but not one of his interviews is distinguished by respect for the musician. His words seem rude to the singer's family, because Murray is not shy about revealing intimate details from Michael's life. Why not, because now his former patient will not be able to refute the slander! Murray continues to maintain his own innocence and maintains that Jackson could well have committed suicide. According to this man, the "king" of pop music really had no reason to live on. What can await in the future of a person who does not see joy in intimacy, is afraid of people and has a secret passion for small children?! And today Murray confidently calls himself the closest and most devoted friend of Jackson. According to him, they did not have forbidden topics, all secrets were shared. However, today Conrad Murray is happy to reveal all the "secrets" of Jackson, which, in theory, as a friend should have kept. And in one of the interviews, he uttered a phrase that reminded many of Bulgakov's novel "The Master and Margarita" and the dialogue between Yeshua and Pilate - "They will mention him, they will remember me." Conrad himself repeatedly said to Michael that he was a clairvoyant and knew that for the rest of his life their names would be inseparable. According to Murray, Jackson is a suicidal man who used his own stash of sleeping pills to inject.

Were they family?

Dr. Conrad Murray remembers his time with Jackson as his happiest time. Because he found a friendwho was so alone, who told the doctor about his pain and suffering. According to Murray, Jackson finally felt he could trust anyone other than his own children. The doctor says he's become the Jackson family. In his interviews, he does not repent a bit, but continues to call himself innocent. In prison, Conrad Murray spent two years in solitary confinement and all this time he was thinking about the original idea of writing a book. Of course, the focus of the story will be his main patient. One statement about such a book caused a resonance among fans of the singer and haters of the ex-cardiologist. At the same time, Conrad Murray has enough supporters, because, despite the disgrace in society, he has charm and self-confidence. Some call it bombast, but consider it even a plus for a medic who lost more than two million dollars a year along with his license.

Lust for profit

Conrad Murray wrote a book about Michael Jackson, and many call it a book of revelations. But fans believe that this is a direct mockery of the idol. After all, Murray wrote about the personal secrets of the singer, his passions and weaknesses. All the data given in the book are very unpleasant and even insulting, but, alas, no one can protest them. Murray described the reaction of Michael's children to his death in the book. According to the doctor, it was he who broke the news to the family. Michael's daughter Paris screamed that she didn't want to be an orphan. Murray assures that Paris came to him and said that she believed in his innocence.

Highlights

Conrad Murray in the book describes the horror that Jackson experienced in preparation for the show This Is It, his struggle with pressure and the moment when Michael seemed broken to him. It will seem surprising to many, but at the mention of Jackson, the doctor's eyes fill with tears. Maybe he's a little remorseful? At the same time, repentance does not prevent the doctor from talking about Jackson's children and claiming that he is not their biological father. Allegedly, Michael himself said that he never slept with Debbie Rose, his legal wife, but asked her to bear children from close friends and colleagues, in order to then adopt newborns. Despite such a loud statement, Murray did not name names, saying that he would take this secret with him to the grave.

Did Conrad Murray win?

Michael Jackson's book definitely made a splash with so many shocking claims. Moreover, the ex-doctor named his creation the same way as the last tour of Jackson was called. And at the same time, he claims that he wrote the book not for the sake of money, but at the personal request of his hero. In it, Murray talks about the fact that Jackson fell in love with little Emma Watson, who then just played in Harry Potter. Allegedly, the singer even wanted to marry an aspiring actress, and Emma was his second choice after his own goddaughter, Harriet Lester. Clearly, Murray's book with such spicy stories will not disappear from the shelves!
