Writer's biography
James Dashner was born in November 1972 in Georgia. Here he spent his childhood. The seventh child in the family studied accounting at Brigham Young University. For a long time, James worked as a financier. However, the boring work bored Dashner, and he began to write. Today the writer lives in Utah, his home is located in the Rocky Mountains. Next to him is his family: his wife and four children. Together with his family, James Dashner skis, watches movies and reads a lot. In an interview, the writer admits that he is happy that writing incredible stories has become his job.
Book Series
In 2003, James started his first series called The Jimmy Fincher Saga. The last is the fourth bookthis series was released in 2005. After a short break, James Dashner started a new series: in 2008, he released the first book in the series, The Thirteenth Reality. This series was expanded in 2009. At the same time, the writer released the first book of the youth dystopia The Maze Runner, which brought Dashner popularity. The betrayals in this book start literally from the first page. And there are a lot of new deadlytests. Despite the fact that the Labyrinth is behind us, Thomas and the Gladers (former inhabitants of the Glade) must not relax. The secret organization EVIL continues its horrifying experiments. Teenagers are waiting for the passage through the hot desert. James Dashner published "Trial by Fire" in 2010, but this book appeared in Russia only four years later. Although an amateur translation of the work appeared on the World Wide Web much earlier.
