Erin Heatherton is an American actress and model. Best known for her work at Victoria's Secret.
Childhood
Erin Heatherton was born March 4, 1989 in the village of Skokie (a small suburb of Chicago). Her parents, Laura and Mark Babli, were Jewish. Therefore, the girl studied at the Jewish day school of Solomon Schechter, and then at Riles High School. As a high school student, she didn't fit in very well due to being very tall.
Career
Erin was spotted on a school trip to the University of Miami. As just a high school student, she signed with the French modeling agency Marilyn Agency and traveled to New York, where she posed for a test photo shoot. The photos taken during this shoot are some of Erin's favorites.
Erin Heatherton's big break came in 2006 after walking in a fashion show by legendary fashion designer Diane von Furstenberg. Soon after, she began to take part in the shows of other world famous designers: Dolce and Gabbana, Marc Jacobs, Oscar de la Renta, Carolina Herrera, Alberta Ferretti, Gianfranco Ferre, Zac Posen and Jason Wu. In just a few years, Heatherton became an experiencedcatwalk professional and has been backed by contracts with many global brands.
Heatherton made her debut on the Victoria's Secret runway in 2008. For six years, she has held the prestigious title of "Angel" and has appeared in numerous seasonal print and television advertising campaigns for sportswear and lingerie.
Known for her freckles and beautiful smile, Heatherton has won fame for her natural ability to succeed in both the commercial and luxury markets. Despite the fact that most magazines prefer to invite famous actresses, Heatherton often appears on the front page.
Private life
As far as life outside of the catwalks and fashion magazines, Erin Heatherton is known to be seriously into sports, athletics and is a supporter of a he althy lifestyle. She regularly plays basketball and baseball with friends and was invited to the NBA Finals in Miami as a guest to co-host a sports radio show.
Heatherton is also interested in interior design. She calls contemporary Brazilian architect and interior designer Guilherme Torres her hero in this field. She is inspired by the way he uses soft yet powerful colors, minimalist lines and cozy, earthy materials.
Erin always finds time to get involved with the non-profit organization dedicated to ending poverty around the world.
