Origin

The surname Naishuller is indeed his real surname, since his own father bears exactly the same. This is a surname of Jewish origin and is translated from Yiddish as "new synagogue". Russian, German and Jewish blood flows in Ilya's veins.

His father, Viktor Naishuller, started his career as an emergency anesthesiologist. And in 1998 he decided to start a career as a businessman. Engaged in the distribution of video copies on cassettes and disks. His first property was the B altschug cooperative. Returning to Moscow at the age of 14, Ilya graduated from the British Private School and entered the Institute of Television and Radio Broadcasting. But, disappointed in Russian higher education, he left it. He decided that a part-time job at the Mosfilm studio would teach him more. Later, he went to New York for education, but decided that this was a waste of time. Therefore, Ilya Naishuller still does not have a diploma of higher education.

Biting Elbows

This group was created by Naishuller himself and his friend Ilya Kondratiev in 2008. She performed punk rock, post-punk, and later indie rock. In addition to Ilya himself, the following musicians were members of the group:

• Ilya Kondratiev (bass guitar, vocals);
• Igor Buldenkov (acoustic guitar);
• Alexey Zamaraev (drums).

2011 year. The group released a disc called Dope Fiend Massacre. The first video for the title song from the album was filmed, which was even in the rotation of the A-ONE channel. 2013 year. A video for the song Bad Motherfucker was filmed. He just blew up YouTube, at the end of 2017 the clip has 39 million views. The plot of the video is a logical continuation of The Stampede. It was this clip that made Naishuller famous.

Then there were 5 singles, the last of which - Dustbus - was released in 2016. The group exists to this day.

The group has 6 clips for 2017, 5 of which were shot by Naishuller himself. And for LightDespondent was directed by Lado Kvatania, best known for the short film The First.

Film work

Before his main success in cinema, the film "Hardcore", Ilya Naishuller did not make feature films, only clips, TV series and short films. Participated as an actor in 2013 in the film "All at once" and in 2014 in the film "Startup". He was one of the three directors of the series "Barvikha".

One-minute short film about the Great Patriotic War The Medic stands apart in his career. This work is completely out of his style. The sixty-second short film was shot in black and white war film style. A touching story tells about a hero, a doctor by education, and military realities.

In 2018, the horror series Karamora is planned to be released, directed by Naishuller. This series is about a very real period in history, the beginning of the 20th century, when Russia was already on the verge of a revolution. The only difference is that the action takes place in an alternate reality where vampires exist.

In the same 2018, the Russian comedy "I'm losing weight" will be released, where he will act as one of seven producers.

His idol as a director is the incomparable Quentin Tarantino, and his motives are easily seen in his video work.

Hardcore

The best of the works of Ilya Naishuller is rightfully considered the film "Hardcore" (2015). He acted in this film as a screenwriter, director and producer. The film was shot in the genre of fantasy thriller. Along with Naishuller, the script was written by the famous Timur Bekmambetov, whofamous for making action movies of the highest quality. Filmed in the style of imitation of frames from a computer game and in the first person almost entirely on a GoPro Hero 3 action camera.

Famous actors, both Russian and American, are involved in the film. Only at the end is it found out that the main character is played by Naishuller himself. After the success of the film "Hardcore" proposals to shoot videos for Ilya Naishuller poured down. Private life

In 2010, Ilya married actress and singer Daria Charusha, who is three years older than him. For her, this is the second marriage, but she has no children. Perhaps they will never have children, since Ilya, in his last interview with sports journalist Yuri Dudyu, said that so far he does not plan children at all. The acquaintance happened a year before the wedding on the set of the films "You and I".

The wife of Ilya Naishuller has been actively acting in films since 2003, she has 58 roles in films and TV series behind her. Since 2015 she has been working with the Gazgolder label and performs as a singer under the pseudonym Charusha.

Despite the fact that blood flows like water in his videos and films, Ilya admits that if he understands that the blood is real, then he is also unpleasant and disgusted to see it, like any normal person. He does not perceive blood in his video works as real.
