Inna's childhood

The future wife of the millionaire Khodorkovsky, Inna Valentinovna, was born in 1969 in Medvedkovo (Moscow). As a child, Inna could not even dream of dressing in expensive boutiques, relaxing at the best resorts and hiding from annoying journalists.

Family

Husband's arrest

On October 25, 2003, Mikhail Khodorkovsky was charged with gross fraud and tax evasion. The businessman was taken into custody. At the beginning of the next month, he announced that he was leaving the post of chairman of the board of Yukos Oil Company.

Litigation lasted a year and a half and took a lot of strength from the Khodorkovskys. The best lawyers could not achieve an acquittal for the businessman. At the end of May 2005, Khodorkovsky was sentenced to nine years in prison. A month later, this decision was appealed, the term was reduced to eight years in prison.

But the twins were told for a long time that dad was on a business trip. All this time, a devoted wife went to her husband on dates, collecting packages for him.
