When a journalist asked how true the rumors were that Farion was in the party, the former teacher replied that she was the headman of the department (Ukrainian) and the only one in the entire faculty who was a member of the CPSU. She was a member of the party bureau of the philological faculty. At the meetings, Irina Farion set the tone, sharply condemning those who were not loyal to the KP.

An explosion of emotions provoked a video in which Farion scolded the children for being called Russian names, advising those who did not correct themselves to pack their bags and leave Ukraine: “Never call Marichka Masha, if it’s Masha, then let him go where these Mashas live!" As a result of five minutes of convincing the children that the Russiansnames are only for Russians, Irina Farion asked: "Do not slander or denigrate Ukrainian names!"

And, of course, moms and dads were outraged by the behavior of the deputy and decided to sue her for discrimination. To which Farion said that she didn’t want to offend the children, but “it’s wrong to adapt our names to the Russian phonetic system!” Her speeches addressed to children caused indignation not only among parents, but also among psychologists, the media, and politicians. 5. June 2013- Farion wrote a statement to the SBU, accusing 148 people's deputies of treason, who turned to Poland with a request to recognize the Volyn tragedy as genocide. Some deputies (including Petr Symonenko) complained then that medicine had not yet reached the stage of brain transplantation.

6. March 2013 - Alexander Zubchevsky (communist) sues Farion, demanding compensation for moral damages for gross insult. The court satisfies the claim in September of the same year and obliges the Russophobe to pay UAH 20,000. Zubchevsky.
