The number of hunters is constantly increasing in Russia. For some, this becomes a hobby, but for some, the only option for obtaining food and farming. Komi hunting terms are established taking into account the rules that are in force on the territory of the Russian Federation. The article details how and where you can hunt in this region.

Regulatory framework

Hunting in KOMI is determined by Federal Law No. 209 of the Russian Federation "On the protection and preservation of hunting resources." It is this law that concerns the conservation of hunting grounds. He only touches on the rules of the hunt itself. This legal act has been repeatedly amended. In particular, the latest edition refers to the following points:

hunting restrictions;
prey requirements for certain types of prey: furs, bears, ungulates,steppe, upland, mountain, swamp, meadow, waterfowl;
requirements for the use of hunting birds and dogs;
standards for shooting and trapping animals;
installations for shooting and trapping animals.

These items are reflected in the approved Rules. Hunting in Komi is regulated by the regional Parameters of this type of activity.

Springtime

This season upland and waterfowl are in great demand. How is hunting organized in KOMI? Spring is the time when lovers of this craft go to the area. In the region, the following territories are allocated for these purposes:

municipal formations of the districts "Koygorodsky", "Priluzsky", "Sysolsky" (terms from April 27 to May 6);
MO "Kortkerossky", "Syktyvdinsky", "Ust-Kulomsky", "Ust-Vymsky", "Udorsky" (from April 30 to May 9);
MO municipal districts "Sosnogorsk", "Troitsko-Pechorsky";
MO urban districts "Vuktyl", "Ukhta" (from May 7 to May 16);
MO of municipal districts "Izhemsky", "Ust-Tsilemsky", "Pechora" (from May 14 to May 23);
MO of urban districts "Inta" and "Vorkuta" (from May 21 to May 30).

What are the rest of the hunting period? The Republic of Komi is no different in other respects from the federal Rules.

Autumn period

According to paragraph 41.1for marsh, meadow, waterfowl, steppe, as well as field game are determined from Saturday 2 August to November 15. Hunting in the Komi Republic under paragraph 41.3 is allowed for upland game from the penultimate Saturday of August to the end of February.

With birds of prey and dogs:

with continental and island pointing dogs, spaniels, retrievers for swamp and meadow game without pneumatic and (or) firearms for hunting (from July 10 to July 24);
for steppe and field game without pneumatic and (or) firearms from July 10 to August 4;
for steppe, field, upland game from August 5 to December 31.

Hunting in KOMI for game birds with a single gun dog is allowed with the participation of no more than 3 hunters. Moreover, each of them must have permits.

Hunting for waterfowl with dogs of hunting breeds without weapons is held from August 1.

Hunting for game birds with birds of prey is expected from July 25 to December 31. In autumn, the brown bear is allowed to be hunted from August 1 to November 30.

Ungulate hunting is allowed within the following time limits:

for all polo age groups of boars from June 1 to the end of February;
for adult male moose from September 1 to September 30.

There are some peculiarities in terms of fur hunting:

From Saturday 3rd August to October 31st chipmunk hunting is allowed;
from June 1to October 25 for the common mole;
from September 15 to February 28 for a hare (hare, hare), wolf, fox, jackal, otter, beaver (Canadian, European);
badger hunting is allowed from August 15 to October 31;
Squirrel, mink, marten, ferret are allowed from Saturday 3rd of August to the end of February.

General rules

Hunting in KOMI is carried out according to general rules. which are important to follow. The hunter must have:

hunting ticket;
permission to carry and store hunting weapons;
permit for the extraction of hunting resources, a ticket

At the request of the inspector or other officials, the hunter is obliged to present documents. He is also obliged to comply with the norms and deadlines for the extraction of hunting resources. On the reverse side of the permit after the extraction of the animal, you need to make a special mark.

Obtaining permission through "Public Services"

How to get to the opening of the hunt? KOMI is one of the other regions in which official permission for this type of activity can be issued through the State Services portal. To begin with, it is important to understand exactly where it will go: in public or private lands. The second option involves buying a ticket at the office of the hunting ground. If you decide to go hunting in the Komi state forests, you will need the following documents to obtain a permit through the State Services:

Voucher, hunting ticket, permits - those documents that are important to take with you. It is important to respect travel dates. Any violations are punishable by deprivation of the ticket or fines. To obtain a permit for the extraction of certain game, you need to go to your personal account on "Gosuslugi".

Next, the opening of the hunt is selected - the KOMI Republic (region). A form will appear that needs to be filled in correctly. It must be remembered that the state duty refers to one questionnaire. For other types of game, you will need to fill out a new questionnaire and pay an additional fee. The finished document is sent to the applicant by registered mail or by e-mail.

Important aspects

This year, according to the new rules of hunting in the Russian Federation, the following prohibitions have been established:

get game with firearms from housing closer than 200 meters;
shoot at an incomprehensible target, at noises and rustles;
shoot at game that sits on poles, supports, information signs;
hunt with driven option.

Hunting rules do not provide for adjustments in terms of when hunting is allowed or prohibited. In particular, in Komi there is a ban on hunting with pneumatic and firearms from July 10 to July 24.

The following are allowed:

from July 25 to November 15 you can hunt with dogs, weapons, birds of prey;
From July 10 to December 31, hunting for field game without weapons is allowed;
from August 1 - for a fox, waterfowl, a hare without weapons, with driven dogs;
from August 25 - for a hare and a fox with weapons.

Among the main prohibitions set out in the Rules:

to be on mechanized, floating means, air and aircraft in the grounds;
cannot use rifled long-barreled weapons;
hunt game birds with smoothbore weapons with bullets and shot over five millimeters, use semi-automatic weapons in collective hunting with a capacity of more than five rounds.

Things to consider

According to Order No. 512, spring hunting in Komi is carried out only for upland and waterfowl. The order of the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Russian Federation prohibits hunting for gray geese in the spring. The term is limited to ten calendar days.

KOMI, like any other region of the Russian Federation, has the right to independently set specific dates that do not contradict Russian law.

The autumn season in KOMI this year is represented by the following dates:

from October 13 to January 10 for elk;
from August 1 to November 30 for a brown bear;
from October 1 to February 28 for water vole, muskrat;
From October 1st to February 28th for arctic fox;
from the last Saturday of August to the end of February for upland game.

In the territories of the Moscow Region of the urban districts "Inta" and "Vorkuta" from May 18 to 27, the extraction of upland waterfowl is allowed. From May 11 to May 20, hunting is allowed on the farms of the Izhemsky and Ust-Tsilemsky municipal districts.

In order not to turn into a poacher instead of the planned rest and relaxation, you must strictly observe the Hunting Rules adopted in KOMI (take a set of permits with you). They do not contradict the all-Russian rules, they differ only in some dates for the autumn and spring seasons.
