First, the estate belonged to Prince Romodansky, then to the nobles Nikolai Corfu and Matvey Kashtalinsky. And in 1783, Catherine II transferred the estate to the famous statesman - Count Panin. Therefore, this place is often called the Panin's estate. In 1837, when the count died, the estate was inherited by his granddaughter, Maria Alexandrovna. She later became Princess Meshcherskaya. Thus, the last owner of the estate was Count Meshchersky.
