Having passed a difficult path, Alexey Oleinik, whose photo we can see here, has gained fame as a worthy opponent. For his peculiar style of fighting and for the frequent use of a chokehold, the fans gave him the appropriate nickname - Boa constrictor.
Physical Data
Aleksey Oleinik has excellent physical data, ideally corresponding to the sport in which he proved himself. With a height of 188 centimeters, the fighter weighs one hundred and five kilograms. This body structure allows him to go into battle with equal opponents without fear of defeat: he is strong and firmly on his feet. With an arm span of almost two meters (183 centimeters), he easily uses his favorite technique to choke the opponent, and this technique has brought him the most victories.

Lesha was born in the beautiful Ukrainian city of Kharkov on June 25, 1977. Being Geminiaccording to the horoscope, he fully corresponded to the main characteristics of this sign. Combat techniques
Aleksey Oleinik is a very capable and well-rounded fighter. He owns so many different techniques that sometimes it hinders him in combat rather than helps. The sheer number of tactics that Alexei can adopt confuse him, and he may miss an important critical moment. That's how he earned hisdefeat. And there were nine of them. Four of them were knockouts. Experts consider the so-called lack of impact to be the weak side of Alexei. Of the total number of fights won, and he has fifty of them, he won only four fights by knockout.
Achievements
Aleksey Oleinik has achieved a lot in sports. At the moment he is:
- winner of the Russian Cup in pankration;
- Champion of the Russian Federation version PRMMAF;
- world champion FFF, ProFC and IAFC;
- finalist of the IAFC World Championship.
Aleksey during his professional life managed to participate in such tournaments as:
- "M-1 Global".
- KSW.
- "Bodogfight" (BodogFight).
- "YAMMA Pit Fighting".
- Bellator Fighting Championships.
- UFS (UFS).
He was also a participant in many grappling tournaments and enjoyed participating in amateur combat sambo competitions. It was in amateur sports that he became the two-time champion of the Russian Federation, the champion of Europe and Asia, as well as the world champion. Four years ago, participating in competitions that were held in the capital of Russia, Moscow, Alexei became the winner among participants weighing more than 90 kilograms.
Professional Development
Analyzing all the fights of Oleinik, we can conclude that basically hisopponents were his compatriots. Alexey started with sparring with little-known fighters. He lost his second fight, among other things, due to a choke hold. This technique later became his favorite. Then there was a series of victories, among which was the victory over the American fighter Marcel Alfay. After this victory, Alexei was invited to participate in the "M One" tournament. But, after several fights, he lost to a Brazilian named Flavio Mour and again returned to fighting with his compatriots and fighters from the countries of the former CIS.
Career break
The moment of truth was for Alexei the fight with Jeff Monson. Although it ended in defeat for Oleinik, the result was controversial. Many observers are convinced that it was in this fight that Oleinik first showed that he was able to fight real ring professionals. This sparring was followed by the following, and they all ended in victories. Among those defeated by Oleinik was the famous Croatian fighter Mirko Filipović. Here I would like to say that Alexei had a fight with Mirko, having fractures of two ribs: the sixth and the eighth. He broke them in a fight he had shortly before that with Alistair Overeem. Experts insisted on the cancellation of the fight, because the broken ribs are in close proximity to the heart. But the victory over the famous fighter was so important to Oleinik that he refused to cancel the fight and decided to fight.
And the biggest achievement in this chain of victories is the rematch with Jeff Monson. This time Aleksey won with his famous choke hold. It is also worth noting one morea significant victory for Oleinik in a fight with a serious opponent named Anthony Hamilton. All this suggests that the level of skills and physical form of Alexei are in excellent condition. The sports world will see the victory of such an athlete as Aleksey Oleinik more than once. UFS is waiting for a new hero, because since the time of Taktarov there has not been a single worthy representative from the Russian Federation.
UFS career
In 2010, Alexei was invited to participate in the Grand Prix "Bileitor Fighting Championship". Having won in the ¼ final against Mike Hayes from the USA, he lost in the semi-final to an African fighter named Neil Grove. It was a knockout, albeit a technical one, but in the first round.
As already mentioned, after Oleynik defeated the Croatian, he signed a lucrative contract with MMA. After the fight with Anthony Hamilton, Alexey had another fight in November 2014 with a very strong opponent Jared Rosholt. The fight was very difficult, but fast. In the first round, in the fourth minute, Oleinik knocked out his opponent and won. I would like to note that at that time Oleinik was actually a citizen of Ukraine. But at the weigh-in procedure that took place before the fight, Alexei came out in a T-shirt, which had the image of Russian President Vladimir Putin. Shortly after the battle, in December, Oleinik received Russian citizenship, which he was very happy about.
Lifework
At present, the athlete is actively involved in the development of sports in the Russian Federation. Together with Jeff Monson, who, like Oleinik,recently received Russian citizenship, they hold various events for children and teenagers. Their goal is to attract as many young people as possible to the sport, encourage them to a he althy lifestyle and find themselves in one of the many types of martial arts.
Aleksey's wife, Tatyana Oleinik, actively supports her husband and participates in his projects to the best of her ability. For her, there is only one champion - Alexey Oleinik, whose last fight is yet to come. Oleinik's fans are looking forward to another spectacular fight.
