Jamie Brewer is the youngest ever elected Fort Bend Borough ARC President.
When she was 19, she was appointed to the Texas ARC Board. She became one of 17 people representing people with disabilities throughout the state of Texas and served on the council for four years. While in that position, she was elected to the Texas ARC Executive Board as Treasurer and served there for three years.
Then, while on both boards, she accepted an invitation to serve on the Texas State Government Committee. She was the only person with a disability there and served two years as a spokesperson for disability rights at the Texas State Capitol.
Brewer partners with several non-profit organizations, includingDSALA, DSiAM, BTAP, National Down Syndrome Congress, American Disability Association USA and Civitan International.

Jamie Brewer (born February 5, 1985) is an American actress and model. The girl is very partial to all kinds of art, especially cinema and theatrical productions. She began taking theater classes in 1999 in the College for Kids class during high school. The talented young girl acted in dramas, musicals, comedies and many improvisations during her theatrical training at the Theater of Dionysus. Jamie Brewer performed in the SWP for two consecutive years at the Super Bowl of Caring Houston Food Drive in Houston, Texas, which aired on NBC, ABC and CBS. She continued her stage studies at the comedy theater and Groundlings School.
After two roles in American Horror Story, she attended theater groups, participated in productions and received a certification as a musical theater actress. The girl happily studied theater arts in college, working on a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.
Jamie Brewer has been (fully inclusive) enrolled in the Southern California public school system since kindergarten and attended Vacaville Christian High School in Northern California.
She worked in the theater department and drama club when she was a student at L. W. Hightower High School. Graduated from high school in Texas.

Career Details
In 2011, Brewer made her television debut as Adelaide "Adley Langdon" in American Horror Story: Murder House. She learned about the audition for the role from a friend. They were looking for a young lady with Down's Syndrome to play the role. Jamie Brewer submitted her pictures, resume and was called to an audition. Much to her surprise, she got the part.
About her role, the actress herself said: "Adelaide is a complex character, but the most difficult part of playing Adelaide is learning to portray a person who is not always considered acceptable to both mother and society." For her, this role was a kind of challenge.
After the show's first season ended, she appeared on Southland in an episode titled "Heat" which aired on February 20, 2013. That same year, she returned to American Horror Story (season 3), playing the supporting role of Nan.
At PaleyFest 2014 it was announced that Jamie Brewerwill return to the series for a fourth season. But later, show creator Ryan Murphy pointed out that she might not be there after all. Over time, her participation was confirmed in promos for the last two episodes. She simultaneously voiced and played Marjorie, the fictitious/ alternate identity of another character's ventriloquist.
Model business
In February 2015, she became the first woman with Down Syndrome to walk the red carpet at New York Fashion Week. And this is despite the fact that the height and weight of Jamie Brewer are far from the model: 165 centimeters and 65 kilograms. She represented designer Carrie Hammer.
