Evelyn Int-Lambot (maiden name) was born in Tallinn on April 20, 1968. However, due to the work of her parents, she soon moved to Saku. There, the girl entered the local gymnasium, which she graduated in 1986.

Evelin Ilves received her higher education at Tartu Medical University. She defended her bachelor's degree in 1993, after which she entered the magistracy. What is true, she could not finish it due to a number of family reasons.

From 1996 to 2001 she worked as a marketing director for the print media Eesti Päevaleh. In 2002, she designed a logo for the Brand Estonia project, which made her quite famous in certain circles.
