The capital of our Motherland is a place of concentration of rich and famous people. And such people do not want to live in ordinary apartments and houses - they need elite housing. What can be called such and what areas traditionally belong to the elite? We will answer the question of which areas of Moscow are considered elite. And we will tell you about the best areas of the capital for living.

What is an elite area?

The word "luxury" is so worn out by real estate advertising that few people already think about its real meaning, it is increasingly perceived as a synonym for the word "expensive". But when describing the elite areas of Moscow, re altors offer a very different list, and this is due to the fact that they are ready to include almost any housing under this category. What are the signs of elite?

The first criterion is the location of housing and its isolation from average residents, intimacy. Such property should be located close to the center. Therefore, when they say that Rublyovka is an elite district of Moscow, it is immediately clear that this is notquite so. It's still a suburb of Moscow.

The second criterion is the historical and architectural value of the house. Here, the person of the architect who created the structure comes to the fore. That is why new buildings from famous architects are now considered elite houses and areas.

Another important sign of elitism is the availability of high-standard infrastructure, comfortable living. Such houses should have high-quality parking lots, storerooms, a security system, excellent design of entrances and adjacent territories.

The next sign is the uniform social composition of the population. Elite areas should be inhabited by people of approximately the same income level, this criterion is not met everywhere in the capital. So, on Ostozhenka, for example, there is still a neighborhood of old and new residents who differ greatly in income and lifestyle.

Also, experts say that the concept of "elite housing" includes such signs as convenient transport accessibility, favorable environmental and crime conditions, the presence of recreation areas and service enterprises (fitness clubs, kindergartens, beauty salons, restaurants) level. Thus, the set of features does not allow many, if not all, Moscow districts to be classified as elite. Therefore, only separate criteria are applied for their selection. 1. Ostozhenka

The first place in the rating is occupied by the most elite district of Moscow, the so-called Golden Mile - this is Ostozhenka. The city center, from the Cathedral of Christ the Savior to Zubovsky Boulevard, encompassing Ostozhenka, Prechistenka and Prechistensky Boulevard streets, is today the focus of high-quality real estate. Prices for apartments on Ostozhenka are predictably among the highest in Moscow. Living here is not only convenient, but also extremely prestigious, it is a sign of belonging to a special caste of people.

2. Patriarch's Ponds

The elite districts of Moscow, the list of which is quite long, cannot be imagined without mentioning the Patriarch's Ponds. A small area between the Garden and Boulevard Rings, around the ponds, is attractive for its history and intimacy. Despite the location in the heart of the capital, it is quite quiet and very comfortable here. The history of the area gives it additional charm and attractiveness. Real estate here is mainly represented by the old fund, which was reconstructed in order to increase comfort, there are few new houses, but they are a model of modern luxury development. 3. Arbat

The area is gradually becoming elite in the literal sense of the word, the population is rapidly becoming homogeneous, the old tenants are leaving, and the elite is settling in their place. The area becomes chamber, closed. The location in the center allows you to use all the infrastructure located nearby, there are also many expensive restaurants, closed clubs, so the residents of the Arbat fully feel like an elite.

4. Tverskaya

In the elite districts of Moscow, invariably, starting from the 19th century, Tverskaya Street is included. This is the very center of the social, cultural and business life of the capital. Of course, it is not necessary to speak about the intimacy and homogeneity of the district, but it fully meets the other criteria. Transport accessibility of Tverskaya is obvious, and gradually,due to the fight against traffic jams, it only gets better. An excellent social infrastructure has been built in this area, and it continues to grow in the elite segment. There are tangible drawbacks here - this is a large number of people during working hours (it increases by 7-8 times compared to weekends), as well as a large number of vehicles and, as a result, noise and gas pollution. However, other advantages are so significant that real estate prices in the Tverskaya area are very high.

5. Zamoskvorechye and Yakimanka

Listing the elite districts of Moscow, one should not forget about Zamoskvorechye and the adjacent Yakimanka. The area with a long history, located opposite the Kremlin, along the Moskva River, is known for merchants' mansions, beautiful churches, and cozy streets. Therefore, living here since the beginning of the 20th century has always been prestigious. The development of the district is hampered by difficult transport accessibility, however, the old stock, which is not of historical value, is being gradually replaced by a new type of houses: multi-apartment buildings of increased comfort. 6. Khamovniki

The disadvantage of the district is the slowly liquidated part of the old fund in the form of five-story buildings with a heterogeneous population. But construction is underway, and members of the elite are increasingly willing to settle in Khamovniki.

7. Moscow City

Describing the elite areas of Moscow, one cannot ignore the newest area - Moscow City, located in the city center, on Presnenskaya embankment. This is a new segment of housing - high-rise buildings built to meet the highest demands of residents. The region has many advantages. This includes excellent transport accessibility, a fairly homogeneous population, high security and comfortable living. The quarter is well planned, the adjacent territories have excellent infrastructure. Architectural solutions are a special advantage of the area; many modern architects have shown their imagination here.
