The most diverse flora and fauna is an exceptional find and a valuable gift for both professionals and lovers of outdoor activities.
Despite the fact that the virgin forests of Komi are the most unique of their kind, they are still in danger. On the territory of the reserve "Yugyd va", which owns the area, active industrial gold mining is carried out.
Unfortunately, the development continues, despite the decision of the special plenipotentiary Committee for Environmental Protection. In accordance with this document, all exploration operations must be curtailed immediately.

For example, according to beliefs, these pillars were once a family of giants that descended from the mountains and were militant against the Vogul people. But when their leader saw Mount Yalping-ner, all seven of them turned to stone from horror and fear.
Scientists, of course, have a slightly different point of view. But be that as it may, weathering pillars are a colossal geological monument of our country.

The legend of the formation of the waterfall is both beautiful and sad. The sister rivers Suna and Shuya flowed next to each other. However, when Suna got tired and gave way to Shuya, she did not wait for her and ran forward. When the rested Suna realized that she needed to catch up with her sister, she quickly flowed without dismantling the channel. She bumped into rocks, pierced them and formed waterfalls. And when, exhausted, she reached Kivach, her strength left her, she surrendered to the will of fate and flowed to Lake Onega.
