The "golden" times of Anji Makhachkala six years ago have come to an end long ago. The club lost multimillion-dollar external funding, and after the 2013-2014 season. was forced to sell all world stars invited to the team. However, the disappointing forecasts that promised the "eagles" a downgrade in the class were not destined to come true. New players came to the club, who turned out to be capable of a lot, and one of those who write the newest history of the Dagestan team was the Russian football player Arsen Davidovich Khubulov. He defends the colors of the team from Makhachkala as a central or flank midfielder.
Early years
Arsen Khubulov is a native of Vladikavkaz. The boy's passion for football appeared as soon as he began to walk, and at the age of 12 the guy began training at the Togliatti Football Academy. By the way, Alan Dzagoev, a friend of the same age, and now the star of Moscow CSKA, studied with Arsen at the Yuri Konoplev Academy.
Arsen Khubulov made his professional debut in 2008. His firstthe team - Vladikavkaz "Avtodor", took part in the drawing of the championship of the Second Division. The midfielder entered the field eight times during the championship, and the next season, becoming one of the team leaders, he played for the Ossetian club in thirty matches and scored five goals. One of the capital's clubs, whose name was not disclosed, as well as Zenit, was interested in the services of a nineteen-year-old midfielder. Khubulov even went to see the youth team of the St. Petersburg club. However, in the end, he decided to stay in his hometown.
In the Premier League
Since 2010, Arsen Khubulov has been a football player of Vladikavkaz Alania. The midfielder made his debut in a red and yellow T-shirt in an important Premier League match against Spartak Moscow. In the half hour allotted for him on the field, Arsen managed to write down a yellow card into a liability, and a few minutes before the end of the fight he forced the Spartak goalkeeper, Dzhanaev, to capitulate, fixing the victory of his team on the scoreboard.
A year later, Arsen Khubulov was included in the National Football League team, which held a friendly match against a similar team made up of Italian Serie B footballers. The Alania midfielder in that match became the only Russian football player who scored a goal.
From 2013 to 2016, Khubulov defended the colors of the Krasnodar Kuban, for which he played 73 matches. At the beginning of 2017, the footballer signed a long-term contract with Anji Makhachkala, where he managed to score five goals in sevenfirst matches. In the Dagestan team, Arsen began to appear more often on the flank of the midfield, and not in the center, as it was before.
In the national team
At the age of 21, Arsen Khubulov was called up to the youth national team of Russia, for which, however, he managed to play only two fights. The midfielder of Alania was predicted to play in the main team of the country, but the footballer did not receive the long-awaited call to the tricolor camp. In an interview, Khubulov noted that only he himself was to blame for the lack of interest in him from the side of the national team coach, because at a certain moment he lowered his requirements.
