Biography
Leonid Ivanovich was born in Ukraine on January 1, 1948. After school, he entered a school in Zhytomyr, and later studied at the University of the city of Kuban at the Faculty of Law. Around the same time, he worked as a carpenter at the Pedagogical Institute. Grach Leonid Ivanovich graduated from the university in 1975. The thirst for education and self-development did not leave the future politician alone, so he entered the Higher Party School, which he graduated in 1985 at the age of 37.

Since 1970 he served as a secretary in the committee of the Komsomol vocational school. Grach worked as the secretary of an organization called Kerchrybprom from 1972 to 1980. Then he changed his job several times and managed to be the director of the propaganda department, the second and first secretary.
Later, Leonid Ivanovich Grach, although he changed his positions, still remained devoted to politics. After the collapse of the Soviet Union, Grach became unemployed. The last places of work were the Verkhovna Rada of the ARC, where he served as chairman from 1998 to 2002. In 2002, Hrach became a deputy of Ukraine for the 4th convocation, and then for the 5th convocation from 2006 to 2007. After the post of People's Deputy of the 6th convocation in 2008, Leonid Ivanovich is a member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Justice Issues.
Community activities
Besides his interest in the field of politics, Grach Leonid Ivanovich has always been distinguished by his desire to improve public life. So, the merits of this person include:

- Holding a referendum aimed at restoring the autonomy of Crimea.

Creating a new party
In 2010, Leonid Grach had a fight with Petro Symonenko, who at that time was the leader of the Communist Party of Ukraine. After this conflict, Grach was stripped of his position as first secretary and ceased to be a member of the party. In the same 2010, Leonid Ivanovich became the leader of the party of workers and villagers, but he did not last long in this position either.
A few years later, in 2012, Leonid Grach tried himself as a self-nominated deputy, but was defeated.
In the fall of 2012, at a rally in Simferopol, Grach suggested creating a new party. In a speech on this occasion, he criticized the actions of the authorities, as well as Petro Symonenko. At the end of the rally, a manifesto was announced about the formation of another party. It was supported almost unanimously.
On the situation in Crimea
Grach Leonid Ivanovich has always been concerned about the fate of the Crimean Republic. He was worried about the state of the Crimea and in the SovietUnion, and at the present time. About four years ago, Crimea was occupied, which excited the politician. As for his thoughts on this matter, Grach spoke in several interviews.
So, the politician said that the consequences of the occupation were terrible. First, the Crimean economy was undermined.
