For almost a lifetime, Bogomolov headed one region. And in February 2014, he handed over the region to the new management. By the end of 2014, the period of his governorship was supposed to expire, but even a year earlier he voiced his plans for life with uncertainty. The reason for his departure from his post was elementary fatigue, because during his reign he did a lot for his region, invested in ita lot of strength.

What has been done for the region in 18 years

When he came to the post of governor in the late nineties of the last century, the situation was deplorable, many industrial enterprises were closed, staff was reduced, unemployment reigned. Bogomolov could not solve all the problems at once, but gradually the situation improved.

Road condition

The problem of all cities in our country is the poor condition of roads and traffic jams. The same situation has developed in Kurgan and the region. But over the years, things have changed. Many roads have been repaired and the most important ones have been widened. Bogomolov himself believed that roads in Russia are not a problem, they are just big waste.

Children's preschools

There have always been more than one thousand children on the waiting list for kindergarten. By the end of 2014, 14 kindergartens had opened.

Buildings

During the reign of Bogomolov, a sports complex "Youth", a swimming pool, a skating rink appeared in Kurgan. Many buildings were repaired, for example, the building of the registry office was repaired. By the end of Bogomolov's term as governor, many residential buildings appeared. An equally important contribution to the development of the region is the construction of a perinatal center. Bogomolov paid great attention to the construction of housing, and he himself met with people who received new housing.

One of the main achievements of Bogomolov is to attract the largest contributor to the energy complex to the region. The result was the creation of another CHP. Until that moment, only in one of the citiesSiberia was the only thermal power plant. At the moment, Kurgan and the region are reliably protected from the lack of electricity and heat supply.

Thus, the former governor of the Kurgan region did a lot for his region. If there were problems during his reign, then they were small, insignificant and completely solvable.
