Peneva is married, although the name and occupation of her husband prefers not to disclose. In 2007, her daughter Anna was born. Although Alena headed the Grazia editorial office when her baby was only 2 years old, she is not one of the mothers who make a career giving their children to the care of grandmothers and nannies. Peneva managed to build her way of life in such a way that it ideally combined professional activities and raising a child. Alena never works on Saturday andSunday. After turning in the next issue of the magazine on Friday, she spends the weekend with her family.
Alena often takes her daughter abroad, spares no expense for her education. She is proud that Anya practically does not watch TV and does not play computer games. The girl, like her mother, has a busy schedule - she reads a lot, studies German, takes ballet and drawing. In her free time, Alena likes to attend theater performances, exhibitions and other events designed for children with her daughter. The editor-in-chief of Cosmopolitan Russia does not care what profession Anya chooses when she grows up. However, she wants her daughter to become a happy, sympathetic, kind and self-confident person.
