When fans start listing the most beautiful, in their opinion, girls in the Russian women's biathlon, the name of Anna Shcherbinina always pops up one of the first. Slender, tall, blond, Anya attracts attention not only with her bright appearance of the Snow Maiden, but also with a completely disarming smile. Few of the biathletes have as many admirers as this charming athlete, who is, moreover, a certified teacher-psychologist - in 2015 the girl received a diploma from the Moscow State University for the Humanities. M. A. Sholokhova. Anna Shcherbinina and biography of the athlete in our article.
Anna Shcherbinina is a northern girl. Born in Norilsk, Krasnoyarsk Territory on January 25, 1991. Initially, the girl went in for skiing, she came to biathlon in 2012, O. L. Lebedev became the first coach of the athlete.
Eye surgery
After switching from skiing to racing to biathlon, there were difficulties with shooting. In order to fully master it and feel confident at the shooting range, it took the girl two years. Nevertheless, in skiing, the requirements are somewhat different than in biathlon competitions. But here -an unpleasant surprise - vision began to deteriorate. And in biathlon, as nowhere else, a keen eye is required. Therefore, in 2014, Anna Shcherbinina undergoes laser eye surgery. And after that the first victories follow
Biathlon. Everything ahead?
It's no secret that the competition in the Russian teams is huge. There are many talented athletes, but the number of places, alas, is limited. And with all the desire, there is no way to give a chance to all biathletes, because the stakes in each race are very high.
Anna Shcherbinina went to biathlon, like everyone else, to win. And the girl did it. Yes, Anya has not yet "run" to victories at the World Cup. But she also has other achievements: for example, in 2015 she became the champion of Russia in the individual 15 km race and took second place in the super sprint. In the same 2015, she became the champion of Russia in the individual race at the national championship.
The biathlete also has three bronze medals from the IBU Cup - two for the sprint and one for third place in the pursuit. Also in 2016, Anna won the mixed relay in Martell (IBU Cup).
Anna also took part in the World Cup - at the home championship in Khanty-Mansiysk. In the sprint held on March 17, 2016, the athlete finished 62nd.
Private life
Few biathletes find a life partner outside the world of sports. They are constantly on the road, at training camps, spend at most a few weeks a year at home. What husband or wife can put up with this? Therefore, sports couples no longer surprise anyone. Who elsewill understand the “jitters” before the start, depression after several failed stages, or the joy of victory? Who will be able to comfort, as if he were in your place, and appreciate the strength invested in victory?
At the moment, Anna Shcherbinina has a different surname - Eliseeva. Her chosen one is a Russian biathlete, a native of Zelenograd, 25-year-old Matvey Eliseev. Matvey is a member of the Russian biathlon team, he is a winner in the individual race and a multiple winner of the IBU Cup stages.
Fans took the news of the athletes' wedding, which took place on April 28, 2018, very positively - smiling Anna Shcherbinina and modest Matvey Eliseev are to everyone's liking. “Happiness to you!”, “Beautiful couple”, “Love and consent to you” - this is just a small fraction of the congratulations that the newlyweds were flooded with by fans on social networks. Indeed, the couple turned out very beautiful.
From athlete to coach
In the fall of 2018, the biathlon world learned that Anna Shcherbinina decided to become a sports coach. Not a coach, not a mentor, but a coach, or, figuratively speaking, a personal sports psychologist. Here is what Anna's colleague, biathlete Natalya Gerbulova, says about this:
Every athlete sooner or later ends his career, but this is not a reason to completely turn away from the sport, because sport is forever in our hearts, and this cannot be taken away. More recently, Anna Eliseeva and I trained together, I often followed her and listened to her advice as a more experienced athlete. Now she has become even cooler to understand emotionalproblems of an athlete, because now she is a sports neurocoach. Since I am an extremely emotional and emotional person, with its help I regulate my emotions, and it really becomes better and easier for me to endure physical activity, and in general to live, you learn to approach everything more reasonably, including training.
Anna, according to her colleagues, is a surprisingly cheerful and open person. Photos in social networks confirm their words - it is impossible to see Anya without her wide smile and perky sparks in her eyes. Considering her experience as an athlete, education as an educational psychologist and personal qualities, there is no doubt that she will succeed as a sports coach.
