Young years

The biography of Maxim Reshetnikov originates in the city of Perm. It was here, on July 11, 1979, that the famous politician was born. Maxim did not want to leave his hometown. Here he graduated from high school, after which he entered Perm State Research University. In 2003, the future politician successfully defended his dissertation on the topic "management of the subject's economy on the example of the Perm region." Even while studying at the university, Maxim becomes close to a group of student programmers. Reshetnikov and his friends decided to create software that would allow them to model and analyze productivitybusiness processes.

After graduation, Maxim Gennadievich starts working as a budget planner in the regional administration. It was here that his political career was launched.

Maxim Gennadyevich did not work long in the administration of the Perm Territory. Already in 2005, he takes over the Planning Department, where he receives the position of First Deputy Chairman. Perm was also not spared: in February, Maxim Reshetnikov was appointed acting head of the region. Viktor Fedorovich Basargin, the head of the region since 2012, was the governor of the Perm Territory before him.

In June 2017, gubernatorial elections were held, in which Maxim Gennadievich acted as a representative of the United Russia party. On September 10, the results of the vote count were announced. More than 82% of voters voted for Maxim Reshetnikov. On September 18, the politician took office as governor.
