Oksana Prodan was born in the city of Chernivtsi. She was born in 1974.

In the mid-2000s, Prodan began to participate in the public and political life of the country. First, he is a member of the public council at the State Customs Service of Ukraine. In March 2005, he received the post of secretary in the Council of Importers, which operates under the Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers.

The reason was the proposal of the Cabinet of Ministers to abolish the system of simplified taxation that was in force in the country, according to which most small and medium-sized entrepreneurs worked.

It was Prodan who then took the initiative to go to mass protests against this decision of politicians. Then they received the symbolic name "Tax Maidan". One of the results of these protest actions was the founding of an association of small and medium-sized entrepreneurs called "Fortetsya", which was headed by Prodan herself.

Two years later, she put forward her candidacy for elections to the Verkhovna Rada. It turned out to be in the top five of the party list of the UDAR party, which was led by the famous Ukrainian boxer Vitali Klitschko. She managed to get into parliament, where Prodan took part in the creation of 44 bills as an author and co-author.

In 2014, she again passed to the Verkhovna Rada. This time, according to the list from the Petro Poroshenko bloc, which included members of the UDAR and Solidarity parties.

Her work in the Ukrainian parliament is highly appreciated. Currently, she is among the most productive and effective representativesUkrainian parliament. Her initiatives and proposals made as part of the adoption of the resuscitation package of reforms were especially appreciated.

The heroine of our article is married and has two daughters. The husband is an entrepreneur who organizes passenger transportation.
