You can get to the main building of the university by public transport, following to the metro station "Elektrozavodskaya". How to get there and general information about hostel No. 1

The hostel from MAMI No. 1 is designed for 913 places. On its territory there are:

General characteristics of hostel 5

This building can accommodate up to 322 people at a time. Despite its small size, it contains: a self-study room and a reading room, a guest room, an ironing and laundry room, a student canteen and a medium-capacity sports field.

In general, the hostel is not bad. However, many users complain about the inappropriate and biased attitude of the guards. They talk about regular searches by security, as well as the ban on entering the place of residence if you refuse to show your bag at the entrance to the hostel.

To get to the building, you should go to the metro station "Petrovsko-Razumovskaya", and then change to a fixed-route taxi No. 204, 114 or 179.

Where is Dorm 6?

This is a spacious block-type building with 786 vacancies. It has a cozy dining room, a room for self-study, a room for receiving guests and visitors, a left-luggage office, a laundry room, a gym and a sports hall. This is the most famous hostel, located near the VDNKh metro station. You can hear both positive and neutral reviews about it. For example, somestudents talk about the lack of coordination between the actions of security guards and commandants.

How to find dorms 7 and 8?

These are two small buildings, one with 326 seats and the other with 340 seats. The first dormitory has a corridor type and includes only a guest room and a left-luggage office, and the second is presented in an apartment form. On the territory of the building there is a dining room, a reading room, a guest and laundry room, a gym and a left-luggage office.

Dormitory No. 7 and No. 8 are located near the VDNKh metro station. They can be reached on foot or by public transport.

Dormitory No. 9 and No. 10: general information

Both buildings are also not too big. One of them accommodates 322, and the other - 412 people. One is a corridor, and the second is a block type. Both have living rooms, WI-FI and luggage storage. Dormitory No. 9 is a 20-minute walk from VDNKh, and No. 10 is located near the Sokol station.

In conclusion, let's say that all the buildings are mostly old-style. They have been at best cosmetically repaired, although many are in need of a major overhaul. In most cases, these are spacious and bright rooms with a welcoming and inviting atmosphere.
