Eva Ionesco is a French actress and director known for her mother's erotic baby photos. In 2011, Eva made the film "My Little Princess", which shows the story of her "childish" childhood.
Irina and Eva
Eva Ionesco was born on July 18, 1965 in Paris (France). Her mother, Irina Ionesco, a photographer working in the genre of bohemian erotica, was already quite famous at the time of her daughter's birth. Her photos sold well and were printed on the pages of major publications.
Carried away solely by her creativity, Irina paid little attention to her little daughter, constantly leaving her to her grandmother or nannies. But when Eva was five years old, Irina noticed how pretty her daughter was - golden hair, a doll face and a delicate figure. But it wasn't the look of a loving mother, it was just the photographer spotting an interesting creative object, another beautiful thing that could be immortalized on film.
Scandal photos
This is how the story of regular cooperation between mother and daughter began. Irina's first photos with Eve were simply decadent - she shot her daughter in her gloomy studio, overflowing with candles, skulls and plastic wreaths. The first photos of five-year-old Eva were not candid - in them she looks more like a revived doll from a horror movie than a slutty nymphet.
But such photos quickly bored Irina. Her imagination worked in an erotic direction all the time, and therefore she soon began to expose her daughter more and more, putting adult jewelry, stockings on the child, and also using adult makeup. Eve didn't care what they did to her - at the age of five or six she didn't understand anything, but she was happy to finally spend time with her mother.
The very first exhibitions with the participation of Eva's photos made a splash - in bohemian circles, the pictures were praised, calling them high art. Like Irina, her creative colleagues did not see anything terrible in the erotic photos of the little girl, so soon the mother and other photographers photographed the little naked Eva.
But even this was not enough for Irina - she wanted maximum fame for her "little princess". At the age of ten, Eva already starred in Roman Polanski's film The Tenant, and at eleven she played one of the main roles in the erotic film Dissolute Childhood. In the same year, eleven-year-old Eva Ionesco appeared on the spread of Playboy magazine. Photo in "Playboy" is presented below.
Deprivation of parental rights
After the release of this magazine (there were no peers of Eve on the pages of Playboy either before or after), a real scandal erupted. The entire public rose up against Irina, who achieved a ban on existing photos and on the creation of new ones. Then Irina Ionesco was completely deprived of parental rights. However, the woman continued to secretly sell photos of the girl - the demand for them only increased.
Since then, twelve-year-old Eva lived in the family of designer Christian Louboutin. Due to the wide publicity of the scandal associated with her Playboy photo, the girl began to be bullied at school. In this regard, practically not attending classes and continuing to act in films, Eva Ionesco finally parted with her childhood. Films with her participation in adolescence are not very famous and it is quite difficult to find them to watch.
Later life
When, at the age of twenty, Eva first saw her childhood photos taken by her mother, she almost had a nervous breakdown. Since then, she has been endlessly suing all publications that own the rights to these photos. She is also still trying to get her childhood photos removed from all sites on the Internet, but it is almost impossible to do this.
In 2012, Eva Ionesco sued her mother, accusing her of "stealing a happy childhood." Most of her claim was dismissed, but the woman nevertheless achieved compensation for moral damages from Irina Ionesco.
In an interview, Eva said: "I can neverforgive or justify your mother. Those who consider her work with my participation as art are just jesters. Nothing can justify child pornography."
In 1995, Eve had a son, Luke (the boy's father is unknown). In 2013, Ionesco got engaged to French journalist Simon Liberati, they are together to this day.
My little princess
In 2011, the film "My Little Princess" by Eva Ionesco was released, based on her true story. Starring Isabelle Huppert and Anamaria Vartolomei.
Eva has changed all her real names: the main character of her film is called Violetta, and her mother is Hannah. Many details of what is happening have also been changed. Eva commented on this as follows: "I did not intend to make an autobiographical film. My goal was to convey to the viewer the very fact of the terrible story of my childhood, to say:" Look! What happened to me is ugly and cannot be considered art! It just so happens that my mother's work still has fans."
The film was well received by critics, which cemented the status of a talented aspiring director for Eva Ionesco.
