The actor's hometown is Dushanbe, where he was born in October 1977. Oleg Maslennikov is the son of a military man and a housewife, the first years of his life were spent on the road. The family settled in the capital of the Russian Federation when the child was 11 years old. The boy was immediately lucky to become a student of the theater lyceum. While attending it, he began to dream about the stage. However, then Oleg did not give up his intention to continue his father's work - to become a military man.

After graduating from the lyceum, Oleg Maslennikov, fulfilling his promise to himself, joins the number of cadets of the tank engineering school located in Omsk. However, the desire for a creative life he still retains. The young man becomes the organizer of a vocal and instrumental ensemble, whose concerts quickly become popular in neighboring military garrisons. It takes about a year and a half for a guy to realize that he made a mistake with his choice of profession.

First steps to success

After dropping out of the school, the young man makes an attempt to become a student at the Moscow Art Theater School, but it fails. Oleg does not give up, working hard as a student of preparatory courses. His dream of enrollment came true in 1996, Maslennikov-Voitov received his diploma in 2000.
