Childhood of the descendant of the Shishilins

Little Volodya was born on the last day of the outgoing summer of 1950. His father at that time was 44 years old (b. 1906). He died when his son entered the sixth grade. Mom had to work almost around the clock, so the future actor grew up as a completely independent child.

On my mother's side, both grandfather and great-grandfather Volodya were hereditary Muscovites with the beautiful surname Shishilina. After their death, they were laid to rest at the Vagankovsky cemetery.

It is known that in the studio theater Gerasimov worked with director Yevgeny Liskonog, who was a graduate of the Shchukin school and an artist of the Vakhtangov Theater.
