As Alexander Treshchev himself said (a lawyer whose biography was closely connected with RFIVA), self-interest won, and the new leaders began to share power, and, of course, money. He did not stand aside either: they began to throw mud at him. It was even alleged that Treschev, having seized the Fund's cash desk, fled abroad. He had to prove the absurdity of the accusations. Disappointment with the Foundation grew, and so the lawyer left without much regret.
